10:20 when u said that Mumbo's HC S7 first episode was Hermitcraft's 3rd most viewed video, i decided to search Hermitcraft on yt and filter to Most Viewed, and after scrowling for almost 4minutes, after 172 Grian and Mumbo videos, i found that Good Times With Scar season 9 first episode is Hermitcraft 173th most viewed video Between the 172 videos there is ONE that isnt Grian nor Mumbo, and it's The Game Theorist video on Evil Xisuma's plot during season 8...

I have been playing since before acacia was added, and but did not know who mumbo was until hermitcraft season 6. Like everything i am interested in, it was always hard to find friends who enjoyed doing things i wanted to do. I think Sahara was some of my favourite content by him. He is definitely inspiring to look at and watch. Thank you for this video.

Chuffed to bits. Mumbo got me into minecraft and it, along with video games in general, is such a big part of my life now.

I started watching Mumbo near the end of Season 2, and it's interesting because up to that point, the only channels I'd watched were the minecraft minigames people, and while I had seen Survival Single Player videos, and had played on a server with friends (in creative), I had never even considered Survival Multiplayer, let alone with technical game play. It was a breath of fresh air to watch this playstyle and to watch people play the game together and get along without a bad apple destroying everything, which had been my experience with multiplayer. It completely changed the way I played the game to discover Mumbo and the Hermits by extension. It completely rejuvinated my joy for a game I was steadily losing interest in, and I credit Hermit Craft immensely for the resurgence Minecraft had in 2019. They were far from the only factor, but they had carried on through while other creators had left for greener pastures, all while showing a new and better way to play and when that finally hit a wider demographic's feeds, it's no wonder that the numbers of everyone on that server exploded into the stratosphere.

I have been subbed to Mumbo for a long time, probably since 100K mark. I don't follow the Hermits as much anymore as time and life have got in the way and we move on. Bit of backstory - in 2011 my father passed away from cancer and I needed to do something to keep my mind busy, Minecraft was a massive part of that but I have to give Mumbo and Xisuma credit for getting me into the game on a technical level. I still have my Mumbo-cube 🙂I hope Mumbo and Xisuma see this and my message.

Good video. Information's all there. Also quite liked the writing for the most part. Felt clever. Can't recall a specific example now tho. Anyways, by adding the odd fun fact it helps break it up a little and I liked that. Although I will say it could stand with some better pacing in the narration. Don't be afraid to take a slightly longer break. It'll help signify the switch to a new point. For example when going from Minecraft to his real life self, mentioning his height you jump very quickly into that. Speed is not necessarily the name of the game. Naturally not too slow either. Practice, mate, you've got promise

Yeah I think this is good advice, I'm really enjoying these documentaries on Minecraft (yt'ers) and I think they are really good and would expect you to have way more views and subs. At least I feel like it warrants it. But yeah there is always place for improvement. So yeah looking forward to the next ones.
