Max may have knocked over his own cage. Cockatiels can get what is commonly known as "night frights", which is basically like a nightmare. It's recommended that you have a night-light in your cockatiel's cage so that they don't get scared in the middle of the night. Also, awesome video. Loved it.

We found a sparrow outside it was only a baby and it was hurt so we took it inside and kept it we named him Harrison we had him for a good amount of years and one morning we woke up and he was dead 😭🥺 he was sick and it was so sad (Harrision we will always love you )

Our first bird was a lovebird and we let him eat from our cookies but as he quickly became addicted to the chocolate we stopped letting him. Only later we learned how much worse it could have been. He stayed addicted for the rest of his life.

Max reminds me of my little birb Lemon, chewing on curtains, coming home in a box (in a five minute drive) and being friendly. He does the little eye nibble, but he likes to climb on my face and dig his little tiny nails into my eyes instead, and being a cockatiel! Birds are great lmao

I remember about 6 months ago, when my mom let my parakeet cage outside so they could get fresh air, and I opened the door. My male parakeet flew out and only came back for the female. I guess he was upset for having to sit in a tree for 2 hours waiting for my mom to get him. To this day he's still mad at me for it...

Birds are a very delicate little thing, despite being able to live for many long years a lot of them don't get that far. I unfortunately had to deal with that in the past more then once. As for your Cocktiel usualy if a bird dies the next morning it can be multiple things but if there is one thing that is good to be worried about is Night Fright. Its a very common cause of death for pet birds. Basicly at night when the bird is sleeps it is in a very relaxed mode and puts it guard down but sometimes something can happen that may startle it causing the bird to freak out in panic and start flying around the cage hurting itself. Sometimes even hitting its head at the top of the cage which can be an instant death. This is why its a good idea to not keep the porch stick to high on a cage and make sure it has a lot of space.
