I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I feel NEST was heavily underused, they had such an exciting intro in ROTF only to have few scenes of screentime, I feel they could’ve been Transformers’s answer to S.H.I.E.L.D. If used right and could’ve been a fascinating insight on their off the record missions and slow transformation into Cemetery Wind, shame they weren’t shown more often

As a kid my parents bought me a Bumblebee and Soundwave 2-pack during the hunt for the decepticon campaign and it came with a NEST patch you could embroid. It's been on my backpack through middle school and up to college and I'll always cherish it😌

I love the idea of NEST. It’s an interesting concept of humans allied with the Autobots using heavy weapons and special tactics. It’s also pretty realistic considering Earth is their home too. I hope this concept carries over to a different universe.

Here's a good theory: What happened to Megatrons arm and leg? At the time of his death he still had all limbs but when he's dropped he has no arm and leg. I know some think it was used to treat Bumblebee but that doesn't make sense as they would have too many parts and iirc Bumblebees legs are still at the building he was attacked at.

I’ve seen the first film many times and I may have something for his leg! There’s a shot where Megatron tries to bolt towards Sam, only for Optimus to trip him, seems like the sweep was SO strong that it straight up chops Megatron’s leg clean off, which explains why he looks like he’s crawling towards Sam slowing before he gets killed.

@@Carpediem357 No I’m pretty sure at least his leg is gone, cuz when I see that scene and we see the collision between his leg and Optimus’ we see a huge spark of impact though the “sparks” seem more like Energon spewing out, cuz it seems more liquidly in form and also that it has a certain blue color to it, similar to the Energon spewing out of Brawl earlier

Honestly as cheesy as transformers were, it was the only franchise to realistically portray the military being able to battle aliens. In every other franchise aside from stargate, the military is almost non existent. like why wouldn't the the US military be responding to extra terrestial threats?

Ahh yes, but there's a production loophole you may not be aware of! In order for Bay to have access to military tech, he has to follow a few rules. #1 the military MUST be shown to be "the good guys!" #2 the military MUST be shown to be capable! #3 the military MUST be shown in a way that shows their extremely effective weapons and tactics!! I'm dead serious. Without these things the military would flat out refuse to loan vehicles or be shown in poor light. It's glorified marketing.

I understand that between TF1 and TF5, 15 years passed. Because according to the films and their synopsis, they tell you the number of years that pass between one film and the previous one. It’s possible. Despite being a reboot, they are combining elements of the Bayverse with the new continuity. Since Sector Seven was introduced in Bumblebee, we could also see a new version of N.E.S.T. in the Bumblebee Universe.

See, this is the "careful what you wish for thing." People complained about the Bayverse and it's increased focus on human characters over ...ya know.....the transformers!!! I don't mind a little human interaction, it kind of makes sense, this being Earth an all lol, however I hope they keep the human characters to a minimum, but a hero, his/her girlfriend, 3 best friends, parents plus a team of 6 soldiers is just taking time from why I bought a ticket......the Transformers!! I have a question if Optimus has the matrix of leadership, and it can revive transformers, why didn't they use it to revive jazz or anyone else?

I think that's due to the licensing of the vehicles they had. Jazz turned into a Pontiac Solstice and from what I know Pontiac got discontinued and they couldn't use Jazz anymore. I mean, they could have just given him a new alt form, but... I guess it would've been a hustle. Same thing with Dino. Ferarri are veeery strict when it comes to licensing of their cars.

I thought was cemetery wind leader but he was a soldier not a lead liason. And who else could have, Galloway or atonger? mostly atonger because is older and would not want his hands with energon.
