Nintendo enjoys the largest profit margin of the Big 3, largely because they haven't spent billions acquiring 3rd party developers and incurring all the additional costs & cost overruns that come along with them. That's why you're seeing mass layoffs within MS & Sony's gaming divisions and not at Nintendo. They should be fine, out of the Big 3 Sony is on the shakiest ground in the long-term as Nintendo & MS make devices & services to play anywhere on either a console device (Switch/S2) or stream games to any device (mobile/PC/Firestick w/Gamepass)
