I am in love with pidgin dolls! Surprisingly pidgin looks similar to what I first wanted try an make my art style, now my art in more anime and cartoonish, I still like to add these kinds of features from time to time! I love all your dolls they remind me of my favorite books I read as child, “They Lonely Doll” by Dare Wright. As child I was so drawn to all of the illustrations in her books, I would borrow these books from the public library over and over. For my daughter’s 7th birthday I scoured the internet trying to find these books so I can gift to her. She is all grown up now but I kept the books to share with any future grandchildren. Keep creating your beautiful dolls they bring people so much joy! 🥰

Wow! I am a new follower because of YT shorts. They reminded me of a few early 2000s websites that allowed you to create something called Dollz Pixel art dollz you start with a base and add hair clothing accessories and a background. I got so creative with those websites. So when I saw one of your shorts i instantly followed. I just did not know how far you were into your art! Its great!! Love it.

I am SMITTEN with her and you (lol can I say that? 😊) I am an OG Barbie “silk stone” collector, Robert Best era. Rubbed elbows a bit with some of the best OOAK artists at the time, my fave being Dan Lee. I did some little bit of custom work myself for funzies; restored an original Midge I found at a garage sale, that was my first “boil perm” lol. I have a Sydney Chase Tonner, wanted more but I couldn’t really collect both Babs and Tonners .. the size differential in my cases got to me for no particular reason. I’m rambling now.. just seeing this took me back to so many wonderful memories of my dolls, making clothes and faux finishing the toy furniture and accessories to look more gorgeous and real, photographing and photoshopping.. making tags and banners for the collectors websites.. You would have blown me away then, and you certainly do now. Bravo!!
