Pop was such a legend, I have four old pistons in my shed and on them it says pops. Those will be cleaned up and put on the mantle piece.

This video is good to know the history of POP Yoshimura. He is a great tuning engineer and has a good family including Mr. & Mrs. Moriwaki. I like this story. Thank you for making the video in English.

Really enjoyed this, but always wondered what the Japanese characters meant that were the logo?
@Hedgehog10395 жыл бұрын
These read "Yoshimura" in the Japanese "Katakana" syllabary. One of the two writing styles which derived from Chinese characters, or "Kanji". Here it is: ヨ(YO)シ(SHI)ム(MU)ラ(RA) ヨシムラ They use these "Katakana" characters for stylisation only. Native Japanese words are written in either "Kanji" or "Hiragana" (The other style of the Japanese syllabary)

A Fiery Hedge-Hog had a Yoshimura 4:1 on my 82 GPz 750, it had one sweet exhaust note!

A Fiery Hedge-Hog loved that bike, when I bought it, I bought it in 84 and had it totally repainted to the factory specs as the previous owner had some strange paint job done to it, but I had the rims painted red, instead of the factory black...

@@gregguerra870 very nice! These bikes are beauties, I don't understand why anyone paints them up all crazy. The old Japanese bikes are gems!
