Texas love I returned a week ago from performing Umrah, and I still can’t fully express the emotion I felt during this incredible journey. It was my first time visiting Makkah and Madina, and seeing the kabba in real life was an indescribable honour. The moment I laid eyes on it, I was overwhelmed with emotion, and tears of joy streamed down my face. I thank Allah from the depths of my heart for blessing me with the opportunity to visit His sacred house. This experience was truly out of this world experience. The Madina where Mohammed (pbuh)is buried was also an amazing journey.

If you are seeking a truly immersive and detailed understanding of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I cannot recommend enough the Seerah of Prophet Muhammad series by Dr. Yasir Qadhi. This monumental playlist, spanning 104 episodes, each lasting over an hour, provides a comprehensive journey through the Prophet's life, from the pre-Islamic era to the end of his mission. Dr. Qadhi meticulously unpacks the historical, cultural, and social contexts of the time, bringing the Seerah to life with profound clarity and relevance. The depth, scholarship, and engaging presentation make it one of the most thorough and captivating explorations of the Seerah available. Whether you’re new to the subject or looking to deepen your knowledge, this series is an invaluable resource for every Muslim and seeker of truth.

30:49 When you enter both the holy mosques in Makkah and Madinah, you feel a level of serenity. It's hard to explain, but it feels real, calm, and pure 34:20 The same certain people today worship cows, humans are easily swayed into unreasonable practice either through culture or family. Then they become hard headed and arrogant about those practices because it becomes a part of their "heritage" & "culture". I of course by no means intend to insult anyone's beliefs, but that's just reality. The same way people were convinced to worship the sun, moon, Greek mythology, and certain humans. Shaytan comes and whispers via a multi stage process, it begins with "lets remember these people" to "your forefathers used to worship them, will you turn away from your ancestors and heritage?" 52:28 I'm not married yet, but I'd so much die before I ever think about "sharing" I can't even say the full sentence from the disgust I feel! 58:57 I believe this is a hadith of the Prophet (SAW) 59:29 This is why a famous scholar once said "I understand if people ignore religion, but how do you ignore the life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)". The society he was brought up in was in extreme ignorance, and yet an Orphan came and transformed it, by the power of Allah of course. From women's rights, to social justice, to political reforms, to etc. How can an orphan had done all of this?! This is something that's extremely unusual!

Also, just to touch on the last bit, my dear brother, your referral is the hadith as follows: "Do not waste water, even if you perform your ablution (wudu) on the banks of an abundantly-flowing river." - Sunan Ibn Majah (Hadith 425) This particular hadith is attributed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and teaches the importance of conserving water, even when it is abundant, as a sign of gratitude for Allah Subhana Wa'Ta'ala's blessings and to avoid unnecessary waste. It's a reminder of the ethical responsibility to use resources wisely and sustainably for the betterment of us, not only as individuals but also as a society. And as always onto the next one. Amr ibn Luhay became fascinated by the practices of idol worshipers he encountered during his travels, and when he returned to Makkah, he introduced idol worship, bringing idols like Hubal into the Ka'bah. As trade routes expanded and cultural exchanges increased, the Arabs were exposed to the polytheistic practices of other civilizations, such as those in Persia and Byzantium, which influenced their beliefs. Over time, the Arabs began seeking intermediaries between themselves and Allah, believing that idols could bring blessings or offer protection. Along with idol worship, practices like fortune-telling and black magic spread, and many people turned to these methods for guidance. Idol worship became deeply embedded in Arabian society, and despite the original monotheistic message of Ibrahim (AS), the people continued worshiping idols because it became intertwined with their culture, power, and economy. May Allah Subhana Wa'Ta'ala safeguard us from such Jahiliyyah and shirk, and if we have knowingly or unknowingly partaken in such, may we be forgiven. Ameen.

59:00 you are right... A few (very few) people did feel empty inside but they didn't know what to do.. There was no Islam around, there was no monotheism anywhere on earth. It was the Age of Jaahiliyya (Ignorance). The people who didn't want to worship idols would simply detach from society and think about Allah alone. But beyond this they couldn't do anything because they didn't know how to worship. People didn't know how to treat women, how to treat people, how to do fair dealimg, why interest is bad. The world was full of injustice. May Allah keep us firm upon eman.

Muslims have 2 kinds of revelations to follow: 1- Quran (all of it is 100% preserved by Allah ) 2- Hadeeth (We only need to follow the Authentic) Most Trusted Hadeeth collections are the following: 1- Saheeh Al- Bukhari & 2- Saheeh Muslim (Saheeh means= Authentic) Each of those 2 is a collection of the most scrutinized and authentic Prophetic Teachings (Hadeeth).

34:08 to understand that, you need to watch the story of Noah (First Messenger Peace be upon him). So, he was the first to see that problem. in short, it was steps of Satan. very patiently executed. Early Humans used to Worship ONE God. Some worshiped more than others, naturally. People used to go to those very good worshipers to ask for advice, and to ask them to pray for the people, because they were "closer" to Allah by the amount of worship they always do. Then those Good Worshipers died. Satan stepped in quickly saying: "ooh how sad are you that those people died. Maybe u should keep a statue of them in order to honor them and commemorate them, So we ourselves are motivated to Worship God the same way they did. ONLY as a reminder, u know. what's wrong with that?!" so people do build statues of those good worshipers. Years and Yeaaars go by... kids doing what their parents do without understanding. they then start to wonder, why r we doing it? Satan was ready with the answers "Surly the are "gods" who will intercede and make us look better than people who don't have "gods" in front of The One God, otherwise all your ancestors wouldn't have done it for nothing" the more years go by, the more lies and myths they believe about these "gods" and the further they go from worshiping The One True God. I hope that answers it.

Idols usually start with a very pious man who died, people start to place them on a special place higher than other people, then over the generations, start paint their picture/build statue and worship the statue. I think thats why muslims don't or not allow to depicts/build statue of the prophets. Come to think of it, thats also more or less how Jesus (as) become what the Christians believe to be God. Its just another form of idol worship

58:58 Imam Ahmad (6768) and Ibn Maajah (419) narrated from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessing and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by Sa‘d when he was doing wudoo’, and he said, “What is this extravagance, O Sa‘d?” He said: Can there be any extravagance in wudoo’? He said, “Yes, even if you are on the bank of a flowing river.” Shaykh Ahmad Shaakir said: Its isnaad is saheeh (trust sources) . Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allah have mercy on him) classed it as da‘eef in Irwa’ al-Ghaleel, then he classed it as hasan in Silsilat al-Ahaadeeth as-Saheehah. The hadeeth was classed as da‘eef by a number of scholars because its isnaad includes Ibn Luhay‘ah, but al-Albaani (may Allah have mercy on him) stated that the hadeeth is also narrated by Qutaybah ibn Sa‘eed from him, and his reports from him are saheeh (trust source) . See: Silsilat al-Ahaadeeth as-Saheehah, 3292.

Prophet Ibrahim was an Amorite who was living first in Iraq and then Palestine. He lived in the 2200's BC since Naram-Sin(Namrud) was king during that time and prophet Ibrahim was an adolescent during their conversation. The Amorites are people that came from Syria who then immigrated to the rest of the Levant and then to Iraq and Egypt. After the lifetime of prophet Ibrahim, Allah gave the lowly Amorites both Iraq and Egypt to rule. We know after that how the Amorites ended up later on in Egypt and became the people known as Hebrews.
