Rainbow Six should've always had a story mode, even if a short one. It's absurd how Ubisoft just chooses not to do it since they can clearly tell a story very well. Say what you want but they're very good at storytelling. Just an eight-ten hours campaign with different missions and cohesive cutscenes. That'd be so awesome.

It should have atleast 1-2 hours for each operator. Bruh rainbow six games used to go hard with story. Rainbow six Vegas, Vegas 2 ,six 3 bruh I own the collection on steam and idc old graphics, it's wicked story. Rainbow six games when I was growing up. Man those were something else. Now... 😥 well atleast it was wonderful times.

Really though? A. Sure Ubi can write a story (not really, I'll get to that later) but there's also the issue of gameplay. I can't but imagine it being hours of T-hunt in a long corridor, maybe 3 alternative hallways if we're lucky. Not that it would have to be that, but I don't trust Ubi to do more than that, especially when you compare extraction to outbreak. B. "Always" is pretty big. Siege didn't really get it's step into story telling until Ela. And even then they needed Zofia to start playing off of it. And before then siege was far more mil-sim than it is today. Would we really want a story with bland whatshername leading rainbow, and no telling what they'd do with the ops. C. Can they tell a good story? Most of this is esports hype. Outbreak is mostly lore dumps. And the anime shorts are way to short unironically.

Rainbow six games all used to have story and some have online. I'm just saying the online wasn't just terrorist hunt. It was vs just like siege but you go on. Granted it just followed 1 guy in the previous games. But go on. A card that pops up on the side of the char when you want to know they're backstory and no story missions are good 👍 😂 don't worry I don't play siege anymore. Enjoy no seriously enjoy. Don't worry I recognize arguing for stuff to be good is dumb I concede. 😂 Ps every 3 months is a new season. Like I said I don't play siege anymore so I dunno if it's still 2 operators a year still. But like I said go of friend they can't make 1 hr story for new ops in 6 months. Wait ... Didn't cod just developed a new game in 8 months a crap game yes, with re used assets from the previous game but go on ubi is better than Activision, (how long have we had siege and don't need a new siege ) oh wait that in itself speak to how good Ubisoft is but like I said you go on .

I wish they made an actual story mode, and a pvp mode like CoD. 8years of lore and cinema cut scenes and etc.m, and still going strong. It almost kind of looks like a story mode going after Deimos is in the works… that would be a badass way of finishing off the game.

​@@eureka_thatsit That was Hibana. Yumi and Jack had a story, Jack loves Yumi but Yumi barely responded. There was a official comic picture shows Yumi and Jordan Trace(Thermite) holding each other's shoulder in their arms, and Jack standing alongside them looking extremely funny and pitty. So in the short movie it reflected this background relationship. Traces and leads could also be found in that season's battlepass.
