This is the DEFINITIVE Rainbow Six Siege lore Video, starting from 2012 all the way until 2023, this video takes a deep dive into the Origins of the Newest Rainbow Squad, the group known as the White masks, every operator that has joined the team, the New Squad systems, Nighthaven, Harry and of course, the new villian Deimos. This video explains Rainbow Six Siege (R6) lore in its full, and is a great starting point if you want to get into R6 lore, aswell as a really helpful revision even if you are already aware of it.

Like adding Zero, ash and maybe Mira to work all angles for each new operator. Sam for the special forces part, mira for tech side of things and ash to help see if they're a good fit for the rest of the team to avoid a Kali situation again.

Same. I stopped when Flores was released and now I got back into it with Brava. I was so confused what tf was going on with the lore until I saw this video and now my whole reality of rainbow has changed. I don't hate Nighthaven or Kali(well, I still dislike Kali a little bit 😂) and now Ik what kind of shxt is going down. It's crazy how the lore of siege went from Operation Patriot then Article 5 to now. I'm pretty certain Deimos is someone we may have already seen or heard of before and I am excited for what they have in the future for the lore.

The code name of the Swedish operator is Fenrir wich is a wolf in Nordic mythology, So if he has connections with Deimos with looks lika a wolf from Ghost recon, then the code name fits perfect.

dude, thats actually a good idea... I completely forgot that the game even existed. It's already confirmed that Ghost Recon and Siege happen at similar points in the same universe, and the appearance of Deimos does look like he belongs to the Wolves... I'm not sure if Nomad would be an operator though... in the roadmap for year 8, the new ops are from Sweden, Korea and Portugal. According to google, Nomad is from Boston, MA? No idea though... Still I love that first part!

Ive noticed that too over the years. It’s definitely disappointing as an og fan to see the game devolve from more realistic to a ridiculous mash of goofy characters. Although it has killed the atmosphere of the game I personally believe that it has enhanced gameplay. Sometimes though I wish I could go back to the old siege when things were not overdone with gadgets.

In ghost recon breakpoint the character Walker betrays the ghosts and leads the team of "wolves" I think Deimos could be Walker because Deimos looks like one of the wolves a bit and he even uses the same revolver that Walker does in breakpoint, additionally, he even sounds similar, if not the same, also, he is mentioned to be ex-rainbow and in breakpoint, the wolves team that Walker leads consists of ex-special forces members who went rogue, I don't know but it sounds VERY similar

Isn't it weird that a defese operator has a codename Jäger (german for hunter)? The name would suggest he should be on offense or at least have a hunter-like ability like Frost has... I don't think there is any other operator who would have such a contradictory codename.

Maybe Deimos could be Logan Keller from Vegas 1 or Bishop from Vegas 2. Deimos did say that Rainbow Six used to be feared and that Harry disgraced the former operator's unit by turning it into the ice capades. I think Rainbow would have probably been at it's peak around their time. They were feared and terrorist attacks were at such an all time low that R6 had to disband. The informant at the end could be either Logan or Bishop trying to stop the other. Or maybe I just want it to be them because I think it would be awesome to see the story bring back characters from the previous generation lol!

Ok so. I've started reading the book by TC and in the beginnings Rainbow is started by a guy called John Clark who was an ex Seal. He was on a flight with his Son in Law, and another special ops guy when the plane was hijacked and the three of them took out the hijackers. John Clark then pushed for the formation of Rainbow and they were formed as a multinational unit of 2 teams, one lead by him, the other by his son in law Domingo (Ding), based out at Hereford. The first operation was a bank robbery in Switzerland with Ding's team being the ones going in. I wonder, could it be John Clark that is Deimos?? They should make Deimos Bishop from Rainbow Six Vegas 2, that would be a really cool tie in for the overall lore to show how far it all actually goes back. If not that they should just bring back Bishop from RSV2.

It is well known that Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six share the same timeline, and that Breakpoint also shares that timeline. In a DLC that takes place in 2025, Rainbow sends three operators to help Nomad combat the possible sale of a dangerous new gas on Aurora. Rainbow sends three ops, Thatcher, Finka, and Ash. If you've ever read a rainbow fandom, you'll see that it says Finka comes back in 2025, it is because of Breakpoint. A long with that, Ash is also proven to be alive, due to her being an active companion in the DLC. So yeah, she lives
