My first Shiny was a random Shiny Teddiursa that I hatched back in Pokemon X. Funnily enough, Shiny Teddiursa was actually my introduction to Shiny Pokemon as a whole.

My first shiny hunt was Litwick in White 2. On the first day I found a shiny Raticate. Then I had 6 months of nothing. And then I found him.

I found my Shiny Froakie in the Coastal Biome in my Pokemon Scarlet. Granted, it did take me at least 2 Sparkling encounter Water Level 3 sandwiches to find it. I caught it using a Dusk Ball and it had the Sleepy-Time Mark.

I hunted Froakie in SV. Got it in 100 eggs- needlessly say I was happy with the result. I suggest using entrance of Area Zero (Zero Gate) as you can just use the left gate! My first hunt was Masuda SS- I never really tried to hunt in games as I didn’t have the brain capacity to. SS was my first time actually hunting and I’m sure I have a clip somewhere of my first lol it’s either Magikarp or one of the starters. I consider Shiny Happiny to be my first shiny though it was hacked in by a friend. It’s definitely the most nostalgic and memorable in X and Y. X and Y was probably the most memorable time I’ve had with a “traditional” Pokémon game.

Never thought about using area zero for hatching eggs, I’ll definitely give that a try next time! And honestly same, I never thought I had the patience for shiny hunting lol but you can go wrong with magikarp or a starter!

@@Thumbus absolutely! You can do it like the old days where you just hold left. Gotta get the correct angle like slightly below straight left but still! Much easier to go for eggs, you might have the occasional Pokémon come down from the mountain but nothing bad. You can also release Pokémon by putting them in your party, just go to the 2nd Pokémon and release, they will automatically come up so you can mass release 5 at a time. Also, video idea, shiny hunting the Scarlet exclusives with the masuda method! Go on, I certainly will be doing it until I get my hands on scarlet from my sibling lol

My first shiny hunt was for bulbasaur. It’s my favorite Pokémon of all time so I had to get my boy. It took over a year of hunting on and off but I eventually got him. His name is Dino and is waiting to be allowed into S/V with all his other shiny friends in my Shield save file

Great Video! Congrats on the Shiny Froakie. I wish I got mine as soon as you. I got mines at 1,471 Eggs. This was first time truly Masuda Method shiny hunting. So it was a bit disheartening 😅. Probably will hunt for a second one, so I can have a shiny Froakie and shiny Greninja.

I had found and sometimes hatched a handful of serendipitous shiny Pokémon before then, but the first shiny I intentionally hunted for was shiny Honedge via the Masuda method back in ORAS. It took me a few hundred eggs, but SwordOfOmens was worth it

3 days ago on violet, I found MY frog friend after 378 eggs! It was my first masuda shiny I've ever got. (Thanks to the shiny charm) it's name is shadow ninja and then envolved into greninja! It's shiny is so good! I am never trading it away :)

My first shiny hunt was Yamper, I really liked that pink and I wanted a pink corgi. I was using the egg method but I wasn’t using a foreign Pokémon so I was going with base odds. I never got it because I got too bored running around the same area so I hunted another one. Pumpkaboo also has a nice shiny and I wanted it for the Halloween spirit. I’m gonna tell you that I have a horrible attention span so for some people 600 encounters is baby numbers but for me, it was FOREVER. I once again gave up. I did get my first shiny in PLA. It was Kricketune. But I shiny I have been determined to get in Scarlet is Scyther because in PLA, it’s my first and ONLY shiny alpha Pokémon and I want my boy Zero back. I evolved it into Scizor and it was my best friend so I REALLY want that shiny Scyther.

Mine was shiny wooloo, inspired by RTgame’s own shiny wooloo named Cupcake. I thought it was so cute I ended up hunting for my own via masuda method and I got him! I named him Choco Puff.

My first shiny hunt was for a Solosis via Masada method. I had only discovered shiny hunting in September of 2022 and Solosis was my first ever hunt. I achieved it December 22. I named him apparatus and he is on my shiny hunting team in that game. My first wild hunt was a Beldum in 82 encounters. My first ever shiny was a fail in legends arceus after SIX HOURS of mass outbreaks. As I was going to a bidoof outbreak, there was a sparkle sound, but I didn’t hear it, and 2 seconds later I found a shiny bidoof in the outbreak. I didn’t realize I missed the shiny until I reviewed the screen recording after I left the area. I am currently hunting a solosis in my White and White 2. Currently at 2,938 encounters. My first truly dedicated shiny hunt was for Wooloo at the beginning of my first Shield playthrough, my technically first shiny hunt would be either for Snorunt in the Friend Safari or Trevenant via Horde endounter, both in X

My first ever shiny and simultaneously longest hunt was a shiny Regileki in the Sword DLC (For context, Pokemon Sword was my first pokemon game! My next two were Legends and Violet, and now I want to play Ultra Sun sometime soon). I got surprise traded a hacked shiny Regileki one day (I released it don't worry :P), and loved the way it looked, so after getting the DLC I hunted for it semi-casually for over a week, and after around 750~ encounters, it shined! I named him Torin, and he's always bringing me berries when we camp X) I also used the Matsuda for shiny Greninja in Violet, and it's my shortest hatch to date with only 47 eggs!

My first shiny was Dratini. So, I was playing Pokémon sword and I wanted to get a normal Dratini to experiment it for something I ran into one and it was normal I thought I had the wrong Pokéballs so I went and bought more and when I came back I ran into one and it was shiny this immediately changed my life she is my favourite Pokémon and I evolved her on the way even though she became a Dragonite I still loved all the evolutions the same and my goal is to get a shiny Dratini in every Pokémon game I have. (This video will be a lot of help with that!)

my first shiny hunt was completely unintentional. I was SOS chaining for a Level 9 Salamence in Sun (before I got the shiny Charm), and I got a shiny Bagon. I checked later on, and figured out that I got it before shiny odds were increased in the Chain. Love that lil guy, and they’re currently in my Shield File. Maybe one day they’ll get to see Paldea

My first shiny hunt was a Furfrou in Pokémon X when I was 11, which I got after only 4 encounters. That was the wildest thing in the world at the time. Unfortunately, I have since lost that copy of X, but I managed to reclaim the Furfrou in Ultra Sun.

I also always pick the water starter in every game I've played (except Let's Go). I think my first shiny hunt was an outbreak for a shiny Gligar in Legends Arceus. I got other shinies before, but I wasn't intentionally hunting for them.

My first shiny hunt is hard to pinpoint, because back then I kept switching targets before i got one. So between my first two random shinies in platinum (machop & staravia) and my next hunt, i basically skipped shiny hunting in black. I think my first successful hunt was friend safari in Y. But I can’t remember if it was Noibat or Mienfoo. I have them both still but hm. I’ll have to check my shield save where they are now.

My first shiny hunt was in Oras in February when I was soft resetting for a shiny treeko which is insane cause of the cutscene but yeah I dont remeber how many sr’s but it was def over 100 maybe like 160 maybe more honestly still have the copy of oras but its damaged so my old ds wont read it :(

My first shiny hunt was for Skorupi in Alpha Sapphire using DexNav. It failed. I never got him. Now my first complete shiny hunt was just here in Pokémon Violet: Iron Valiant. I just ate a Fairy sparkling sandwich after finishing the game, went to the caverns between Lab 3 and 4, and after 2 hours, I got her (I know its genderless but for me is a girl). A special attacker Iron Valiant named Juana De Arco (Joan D'Arc in Spanish). And she's part of my main team during both DLCs ♡

This isn't a hunt but it's more of just a funny story, I was wanting the ability pickup from an apom in sun and moon, accidentally I think in about 7 eggs (I don't know how many I think it was 7) I managed to hatch a shiny apom with the ability pickup and I still have it in usum to this very day!

Ok ik im only supposed to do one.. but im also sharing my first EVER shiny.. bc why not. First ever shiny - I was just roaming around in Colbalt Coastlands in Legends Arceus when I hear it. The iconic shiny sound. And from hours and hours of PLA videos I've watched, I knew what to look out for, and what to do. So I save the game, and go to battle the shiny, aka a Tangela. I caught it quickly (forgot what pokeball) and named it Vine. Why? bc the shiny reminded me of vines. First shiny HUNT - Very boring compared to the first one but I decided that I wanted to shiny hunt a droopy form Tatsugiri. I already had a shiny Pachirisu from a random online tera raid battle, but I wanted another lil friend. So, I decided to masuda hunt for Tatsugiri. (yes its possible) I soon started to gather the eggs, around a few rows. No luck. So, I go over to the purple shrine (for some reason) and grab another batch of eggs, this time, I grabbed enough to fill my breeding box, along side 5 to go into my party, so I can start right away. I grab those eggs and this was around the time that Greninja was revealed to be 7 star raid. I decide to go to Glassado Mountain to find a Clodsire for the raid, while watching some YT. Apparently, one of my eggs hatched while I was watching a video, and I look up to see the shiny. A pure white fish swimming in the air. I get really excited and call my friend, which soon led to his name. Arcturo. And now, he lies in my box ever so patiently along side my other shinies. (I dont use shinies on my team, i perfer regular) ~The End~
