I eh... made a lot of videos in the past few days. And more to come (I have some time on my hands, coming together with having several videos near completion). So I decided to push this one out now, in the middle of the week. Because why not, supply is booming! Right now on my patreon I put the videos for the next weekend and next mid-week (or weekend) in Early access. So subscribe to the patreon for early access on those, but they will come soon, so no pressure! Patreon link: www.patreon.com/ImperialKnowledge

I love how tiny lore beats like the existence of sea giants opens the door for many questions and could bring huge lore implications

Right? Like, imagine a group of Half Giants showing up declaring that they are in fact the true descendants of Isgramor and deciding to wage war on Skyrim

Tinfoil hat: What if Sea Giants are the survivors of Atmora, and Nords are descended from them? So Nords are Nedes with Sea Giant (Atmoran) blood, like Bretons are Nedes with Aldmeri blood.

@tripalink Жыл бұрын
@@Thecrucialdruggy theres NO WAY it will be that. its already confirmed highrock/hammerfell. also we have Elder Scrolls Online for that. maybe like elder scrolls 10 will be that. but even eso doesnt have Akavir and stuff. theres no way they will strech es6 that thin.
@gobbo1917 Жыл бұрын
Personally the only thing I hope from elder scrolls 6 is that they expand on the races, like letting us play some half races and ultimately the ability to play it on something that's not just PC or xbox, I don't think the one of the biggest RPGs should be exclusive 😅
@tripalink Жыл бұрын
@@gobbo1917 it will not be on play station. Also half races don't really exist in the elder scrolls they take on the race of their mother. Except for the Bretons who are a race of half breeds. Specifically a mix of humans and elves
@tripalink Жыл бұрын
@@gobbo1917 I do think they might add some new races. Specifically sea elves feel likely since they are decently prominent in the lore and in eso

The Atmora theory is quite interesting. It would be quite intriguing if there was ever to be a story about a Tamrielic ship and crew either crashing their or going on a summer expedition there in the 2nd, 3rd, and/or 4th eras.
@smuggrog9821 Жыл бұрын
The Sea Giants could also be living in an unknown islands in the Sea of Ghost, we know that large islands like Solstheim and Roscrea exist there so the giant could be inhabiting similar islands in the Sea of Ghosts. surprised we don't have any Breton legends about Sea Giants either since cities like Farrun, Northpoint, and Jehanna would be vulnerable to Sea Giant raids to due to how close they are to the the Sea of Ghosts.
@kiba3x Жыл бұрын
Or maybe underwater caves?
@mygetawayart Жыл бұрын
Surprised no Breton on the Sea of Ghosts has ever managed to strike a deal with them, giving them regular shipments of wood and other building materials, maybe harboring them if the sea is too rough or frozen over in exchange for a small contingent of personal bodyguards against Orc and Nord invaders. Seems like they could really use the materials. Also, with them having blue-scaly skin and being primarily sea-faring creatures, one cannot help but wonder if there are any connections with the Maormer of Pyandonea. Perhaps they are the genetic missing link between men and mer. It has been speculated that the Lefthanded Elves also share ancestry with the Maormer so perhaps, during the Merethic era, there was a thriving culture of trade and interbreeding between all races sailing the Abecean and the Sea of Ghosts.

Thank you for your work, you're making a great and interesting videos on theme's that are not so well known in lore and among the people.
@derskalde4973 Жыл бұрын
I agree with, that the Sea giants probably live on Atmora (or maybe islands close to it). If they lived exclusivly on their ships, they'd probably have to make landfall every few years, and likely at least once a year, to repair their ships and restock on materials. Also, to me, it's no wonder their harpoons and such are of high quality. If there's a limit to how much material you can use, you'll start making the best of it, using every last bit.

I like to think that Sea Giants have a home in Roscrea. The island that gets annexed by Solitude around Oblivion's time. Not because I have a theory but I think it'd be cool to tie it with Sea Giants. It would make Uriel V's conquest of it that more impressive

As much as I love the Elder Scrolls Universe, and relaly appreciate the Norse influence of Skyrim, as a Norseman, it does frustrate me that people keep misrepresenting Norse Mythology in various media. I really wish people just learn the proper Norse Mythology.
