You know what else happens? The football fanbase, the majority of it became braindead. And it all proven clear as day since Messi won the World Cup. People will follow anything, like ANYTHING if it's all about him. I've never seen a fanbase that is so blind and ignorant as Messi fanbase. The glazing is so extreme even the word glaze itself lost all of its meaning. Social media are sometimes filled with the worst versions of Messi fans. Like they will talk trash other football players, with Ronaldo became their ultimate punching bag. I hate to say this, the football fanbase, outside of anything related to Messi like Premier Leage or Bundesliga, it's not fun anymore. Like imagine you like or look up to one player, and suddenly compare that player to Messi with intention of them to like him instead. I am a Messi fan but I respect football players who push themselves beyond limits to be the best, without relying to much on their talents. Now that Messi won the World Cup, PLEASE let someone else won their moments. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ABOUT THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ABOUT MESSI.
