So far I don't think the primalists have much going for them other than being a diet watered down version of the twilight's hammer.Twilight's hammer had a lot more going for them so you wonder why they don't just use that.They may use the void but they had access to the elements to.

The Primalists are the weakest part of the story. They make no sense, they came out of nowhere, have a huge army and just somehow knew where the Primal Incarnates had been imprisoned for the last 10,000 years on this continent that the Mortals didn't know existed until now. I'm hoping that there is another big bad (Old God maybe?) behind some of this. Alexstrasza did mention after the raid that Iridikron struck bargins but didn't say with whom those bargins were struck.

I think as players, or as our characters, we actually have an interest to weaken the titan's position. If we presume it to still be correct, that once a titan soul wakes up they effectively destory the planet, well we NEVER want to see Azeroth wake up. It would be cool if the primalists argue along those lines, but I somehow doubt it.

There is the *very minor* involvement of the Twilight's Hammer in the Waking Shores, basically being behind the formation of the Worldbreaker faction, which is kinda neat imo. Though I guess it also makes sense that they're not much involved with anything since the end of Cataclysm... or BfA for that matter.
@Kirochi
@Kirochi Жыл бұрын
Maybe they could show that some Primalists are former members of the Twilight's Hammer Clan, thinking themselves redeemed of their crimes against the elements and now "defending" them in a fundamentalist way, after 5 years of peacefully preaching in favor of Azeroth and the elements (and against the element of order/Titans), but now tired/angry after having been ignored or cast out.

Propably blizz intends to make the shaman class available for night elves soon and this is a way for some story background. That NE got involved with shamanism in the last few years.
@kayschut9327
@kayschut9327 Жыл бұрын
@@dawoifee I always wondered why there weren't any Night Elves that picked up shamanism (as it, like druidism, is learned). They had close ties with at least 1 race that is shown to be very shamanistic (the furbolgs), so I would assume there were those among them that learned it from them. EDIT: I do believe that at some point the Primalist faction will splinter, with a bunch of them even becoming allies. This would tie in with getting Night Elves as Shamans.
@MarkoArillius
@MarkoArillius Жыл бұрын
@@kayschut9327 Largely because of druidism, actually. Druidism is the worship of nature and most animal spirits tend to lean toward nature in story, these days. Shamans are, more and more, elemental only in the story.
@kayschut9327
@kayschut9327 Жыл бұрын
@@MarkoArillius Which timeline wise doesn't make for a compelling argument though. The Night Elves were already friendly with the furbolgs before the Sundering if I remember correctly. After the Sundering druidism became more of a thing after arcane magic was shunned (which is why there are high elves and blood elves, as the high elves were basically Highborne night elves that physically changed over generations because of the Sunwell). This would not interfere with the study of shamanism in my opinion, especially if there were those among the night elves that wanted something other than the druidism they were very sceptical of up until that point.

But inthe Primalist cinematic in the Conflux, if youre a Drac, and youre in your humanoid visage, the bronze dragon(forgetting name atm) will also be in their visage form. Theory: I believe that Iridikron with his affinity towards old gods, will tap into the Yog’saron power and with its connection to Galekrond try and resurrect Raszageth into some form of undeath. This will shake the trust of other primalists, as they will see him for what he truly is. This might make Iridikron to go even further into madness and force his own kin into service as well. Possibly similar to how Garrosh went more more mad and against horde ideals, at some point killing those who belong to it. ( Sry for possible name butchering)

Apparently Yogg and C'thun were taken care of by us, and we used the Reorigination Ray on G'huun and N'zoth Trust me, I remember the lore beforehand and it made more sense; C'thun and Yogg should still be alive, just pushed back into their prisons. And it could be a lie, a retcon to a retcon that people paid $30+ for because Blizzard just does that these days. And it's most likely the case that the whole traveling to the past and seeing the Old Gods in Ny'alotha during the Black Empire triggered some sort of loop since Void creatures (randomly) live outside of space-time Like, I'm sure a Black Empire 2: Void Boogaloo's in the works, but it's so messy getting there with so many of the steps not making any sense. But yeah, they were originally too powerful to get killed, but then we went Super Saiyan and the Champion can do whatever, so~

I didnt actually play in legion, and learning about this really makes me mad. Remember the "Thrall's wild bachelor party" storyline In Cataclysm where he gets abducted from his wedding ceremony and then split into emotional aspects matched with elements? His fire quest had him flipping out, too angry to be reasoned with because "Cairne was like a brother to me." So you're trying to tell me that the leader of the Earthen ring at the start of the expansion (until it becomes the shaman player character) was just "fine" with the woman who murdered his close friend and ally, the first true friends and guides to the fragile "nobility era" of the Horde as they stepped onto the shores of Kalimdor, would allow she who killed Cairne with subterfuge and tried to storm thunder bluff into their inner circle? Handed the ability to disrupt important events with her esoteric schemes? Gave her full access to the horde and an easy recon method People who say "blizzard employees dont even play wow" are probably wrong. But they DEFINITELY have not mastered object permanence yet. I mean its only a story involving the cornerstones of the horde in WC3, nothing important or anything. And to spit on that even further, Cairne and Baine never met up in the shadowlands. They had so much material to work with and just botched everything. Finish your vegetables kids, so you can grow up big and strong and not get stuck working for blizzard. _Cairne Bloodhoof, Children's week 2007

But heres where im torn and i dont think the creative team would delve this deep, but what if every planet was "capable" of being a "titan". Meaning that all planets were all susceptible to being corrupted, whether old god/titan/etc. Now 1 of 2 things could be said. Either Azeroth is truly some hidden gem to these greater forces. OR 2, We just so happen to be this middle ground, this infusion of borrowing elements/aspects/affinities, who are not only a middle ground for these bigger opposing factions, but we ourselves are proving to be an upcoming force of our own. And no what the different interpretations we see of the cosmology map, were always speculating bout this "5th/6th(minds blanking rn) Force". But what's always consistent? We are at the center of the map ALWAYS. Could Azeroth might just be the embodiment of this 5th force?

I do like the start here but, knowing what Blizzard is now, I will not trust it or pay for it. I am glad you are watching and still making story videos though, the only thread I had extreme difficult time weaving into any sort of usable story was Galakgrond and the aspects as we knew so little about them. It actually fits incredibly well now with my own story because Yogg'Saron was the first being on Azeroth to open the path to death and get in contact with the Jailer in my version as he took a heavy loss and was searching for a power beyond the void to better aid him. All I need to do is move his experimenting from where I had him in Northrend to the dragon isles. I'm also overjoyed because his humanoid race that I was building when I still was trying to integrate it with Blizzard's works even better as, although Yogg'Saron cannot connect to the Shadowlands, he could have experimented with modified mortal souls to figure out where they were going which allows me to better explain why he would have humanoid beings leading his followers as the Shath'Yar in my story. Still, how I'm going to get the story out there is gonna be a problem, not that I wouldn't love to but I am an awful visual artist so I can't show what I picture in my mind and I know little of how to create content like this. I also have new schooling that will likely take up time and a career after that. Still, thank you Nobbel, without you and your content I would never have become invested in the world of Azeroth as I had and none of this experience, even bittersweet as it is, would be possible. Thank you, I'll never stop watching

The problem is that Death and Void are direct enemies (the Sylvanas comic back in BfA touched on it, and some of the SL questlines has Void interfering with the Shadowlands directly as enemies). Granted it could be an undercover alliance, but the OGs and the Shadowlands wouldn't work together off of general principle because of their grand scheme anti-relationship
@merikmalhads1676
@merikmalhads1676 Жыл бұрын
@@RrowdyBeast Yes I am very aware of that. I am also aware that Yogg was one of the most deceptive and least faithful to the void's mission. The narubians were the only Aqir descendants who held no allegiance to the void and actually aborhored the faceless ones sealing them away and instead focused on art and culture. On to of that, Saronite, his own blood has deep connections with the scourge and undead on Azeroth to the point where Icecrown Citadel which was revealed to be designed after torgast which makes it the Jailer's was literally constructed of almost pure saronite. Also, one of his taunts was showing us the torment of Bovar at the hands of the Lich King indicating he was at least party to it. If any of the four old gods of Azeroth, Yogg would be the one who would both see the merit in diversifying power and possibly even betraying the void itself if it meant him gaining more power. Also, the Yogg I have doing this research is one who recently lost a great battle and was seriously wounded, he made this connection to the Jailer at this point in time but only drew on his power. It was only after he witnessed Y'shiraaj's death by the hand of Amanthul that he actually moved from a transactional to a more allied position with him. This, by the way, is also how the void became aware of Zovaal's true plans ahead of schedule and why they were able to warn Alleria with such certainty. The void can see all possible futures but never know which is happening specifically until they reach it.

My standing theory about the elements on Azeroth is that Xalatath was the "elemental lord" of spirit but was drained of her power by Azeroth (albeit unintentionally). She spent years basically being a punching bag to the other 4 lords and joined the Old Gods in hope of gaining power to get back at them, and perhaps even Azeroth. Of course, this wild ass theory i pulled outta my hind-quarters and will probably NEVER be true.

By their own lore in Dawn of the Aspects the protodragons were too stupid to form complex sentences and were much smaller then the reformed aspects. They were too dumb and weak to pose a threat to the dragonflights, let alone the world, how did sitting in jail for thousands of years change that?.

I really would have dug this had the last two expansions not happened. You tell it well but too late for me. Blizzard broke what good will and trust they had. Expect this to go south as well sooner or later with some really contrived telling.

Can we really be sure that azeroth is a baby titan? Imo that is perhaps another titan propaganda. I have a suspicion that azeroth is a potential... powerful thing. Its just that the titans were able to eradicate all other forces trying to take control and are pushing for it to go the titan path. Instead of say, the void lord path.

The Primalists make really no sense. How did they form? Where did they come from? How long have they been building? And how is it that they got to the Isle so fast? And I know we're just seeing the Incarnates at the tail end of their conflict but it just looks like they are acting more like they are out of jealously than anything else.

Theory: the elements are empowered BECAUSE of the jolt of Spirit energy that surged through the land when the rift into the shadowlands was opened. This could also explain why Razegath was the first to awaken since here element of Air was probably the most quickly affected with spirit energy. This also ties into my next theory: the element of Decay also received an enormous amount, if not the most, of the spirit energy that ebbed out of control both from the rift and from the millions of souls that likely perished int eh aftermath of the Lich King’s armies rampaging on Azeroth. I wouldn’t be surprised if Agatha, and that Matriarch Gnoll shaman from the new dungeon, make an appearance at some point as major shamans that follow the edicts of Decay Also, since we know that Decay, comes from Undead, and Spirit comes from Life, then it stands to reason that Life would oppose and be used to correct this imbalance on Azeroth. In other words: in order to restore Order more life must exist to ‘consume’ the spirit energies that are surging throughout Azeroth and to stop placate the elements who are being overwhelmed with all that energy seeping into the world, and by extension the world Soul. I can see this playing out with us restoring a massive world tree. The seed is a bond between Undead and Spirit so if we where to plant it then it would likely restore balance to the energies on Azeroth as it grows, since it will consume massive amounts of spirit energy and be a massive boon towards correcting all the life lost in the BfA’s aftermath. This could also tie into the green Dragonflight’s story and why the Primalists where so keen on making sure that seed did not take root, they would have probably liked to use it to create a world tree aligned with Undeath/Decay or see it’s power drained of Soul-energy to further their powers. On the subject of the Drgonflights: it’s likely that the end-story for the Green’s will end with Ysera returning to the afterlife, and the Night elves taking up their new tree, and thus Merithra will be the new aspect and in defending the world from Undeath and in defense of Life the Green’s new purpose under their New Aspect will likely shift focous away from the Dream and towards correcting the balance of the land through nature and healing magic. We also know that 2 Incarnates releases are those of Fire and Ice, so, isn’t it convenient how we have 2 massive towers, one in a volcano and one in a frozen tundra, and 2 aspects still coming into their own? I suspect that 2 of these incarnates will be story Fodder to see the Blues and the black dragon flights’ new aspects regain their strength, they will either seal away or destroy these incarnates and empower themselves using these towers somehow. All of this is jsut speculation and a layman’s hypothesis but I would love to see what you all think about my theories.

Also wanted to add that I wouldn’t be surprised if the benefactor of the incarnates newfound powers is actually an old god using the energies of undeath and the corpse of Galakrond as some macabre puppet to whisper into the ears of the primals. This old God could be one of the ones we thought we dealt with just also empowered with spirit or reanimated through Undead/decay magics. It could also be some sort of quasi void-lord and Sire Denathrius shenanigans as they use the all these energies violently flowing into Azeroth to speed up her awakening or to suppress it for their own goals, one thinking they’re tricking the other all while Silvanas/Jailer 2 Electic-boogaloo are playing fifth dimensional chess with all of us from some Originator rogue robot 4th wall break story hole Ai expansion we’ll have to deal with in the future.
