Yeah, unfortunately the writers dropped Will's storyline in s4 so that was never explained properly... but the writers have said through Twitter that they eventually got back together and are happy now.

I am personally not a fan of ouat but I love ouatiw because it is how a story should end without mass confusion. Will was just a pawn in season 4 and his character was not well written. They tend to just drop characters in once upon a time in wonderland without proper send off. Like we are supposed to imagine what happens. The first 2 seasons were nice but after that it just got annoying. Red was my favorite character and they just dropped her by the wayside. Just like Will. It is like they started writing and said let them guess. Will and Anastasia have a son in my head and love each other. Bound for life.

@@maryelleno7464 actually I'm glad we never had a season 2. I think OUATW was so good because it was short. If not, they would have messed it up like the main show. I just pretend season 4 events happen before the spin-off and now I am happy with the ending.
