My dad bought me the PS1 as my first console when I was about 5. It was the greatest thing ever, I had never actually been exposed to video games until that time but it forever changed my life. I remember playing games like Oddworld, Tomb Raider, and Crash Bandicoot. No games could ever compare to these classic titles, and I had so much fun with my friends around the neighborhood with it as well. It's weird how everything has changed...

My favorite PS memory, would be right after graduation from Uni. Me and 4 of my friends. Spent 2 weeks of non-stop PS2. RAD, Resident Evil 4, Samurai Warriors, Rise to Honor were few of the games we played. Two weeks of not giving any care to the world. Two weeks of Mountain Dew and chips. Two weeks before the storm we now call life. That also served as my bachelor party, as it was weeks before I got married.

I remember playing PS1 games at home, and Spyro The Dragon got me into gaming in the late 90s. Ever since then, gaming has become my hobby. I actually had a Sega Mega Drive before that, but playing on it was merely a side activity besides going out and playing ball. Most probably because my parents also made me go out, but gaming wasn't the issue back then, in the mid 90s. Our family friends had a Windows 95 computer, and later 98. Whenever my parents went to them, they would tell me to go and play with their son on the computer; or simply watch him or his father play games like the original Age of Empires, Age of Empires II, Twinsen's Odyssey (Little Big Adventure 2), Abe's Oddysee etc, though I barely remember some of the older DOS games (although I have played some with my friend). Ever since, I secretly wanted to go there every day, and whenever we went to their visit, I was so happy. I remember when I went with my parents to visit my cousin in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There, there was a gaming club where you could play games and you could choose either PC or PS1. I saw someone playing Spyro The Dragon, and I was like: "Mom, I need to have this game!". I fell in love with it so much that I simply had to have it at home. So - Spyro The Dragon was one of my first PS1 games, if not the first. Of course, I even played and bought the older games for PS1, but Spyro was where it all started for me. I started playing games at home more and more, and have been playing them 'actively' since 1997-8. God, I feel old.

Ive been with playstation since the very beginning. A friend of mine bought one from japan on its release in 1994 for 2000 dollars and its where i got to first experience it. I played the 1st launch titles like Ridge racer and Tekken and saw the other games that were geared for release in the near future like Demolition derby and Resident evil. I bought my 1st console for 600 dollars in early 1996 which was around the release time for australia back then...and ive been with them ever since. Playstation has never let me down, im a staunch supporter of sony and i'll continue to support them. They just keep getting better and better and to this day ive never bought a different console because PS gives me everything i need in gaming. Ive nothing but good things to say about them and they have my thanks for all the good years of gaming ive had. So thankyou Sony.

Ps3 was a piece of shit compared to the 360, The ps2 was way ahead of its time at the time of release. The slower blu-ray drive on ps3 made games look choppy and not as crisp as 360. That's essentially why you have to install games on the ps4 and xb1, the drives are too slow to render the higher resolution of today's games. As far as greatest PS system its the ps2 all the way.

Very informative video with a lot of professionalism as usual .... Keep up the good work. One conclusion I am having from Sony and Apple's success stories (or rather from Ken Kutaragi and Steve Jobs ) is that the betrayal of partners led to huge success. The worst things that may happen to someone could turn out to be the best things in the future (if he works hard and does not lose faith). It is a great lesson that we should bear in mind.

+miguel mendiola it is true of is the best for gaming ESPECIALLY graphics wise like have you seen a high quality graphics pc game compared to a play station or Xbox its pretty big also they are pretty confined when it comes to modding and other abstract or edited content

My top 3 favorite PlayStation models are: 1. The smaller redesigned PS One. It may not have a reset button, but it comes with a 5-inch LCD screen therefore making your PS One a portable console that you can take with you on the go. In other words, the PS One is a portable game console/CD player that you can take with you on the go. But in order to make it work, you need a car adapter or an AC power adapter in order to make the console work. Plus, the LCD screen has a headphone jack built in the back as well. 2. The slim PlayStation 2. The fat one sucks because it has an automatic slot-loading disc drive which causes it to eat up your PS1 and PS2 game discs. The slim PlayStation 2 is a lot better because it has an old-fashioned disc loader and an open/close disc cover. Like the original PS2, the slim PS2 is backwards compatible with PS1 and PS2 games and PS1 and PS2 memory cards. And 3. The PlayStation 3 Super Slim. It is way better than the original fat and original slim PlayStation 3s because it has an old-fashioned disc loader and a slide-open/slide-shut disc cover and not the annoying automatic slot-loading disc drives.
