I love how Ruin is like telling the story, yk? He sounds evil though- Omg it’s actually all the characters telling the story, woah. I love this recap though so far :D Sorry it may be kinda long, happy new years though everyone! 3:19 LMAO Of course Monty has to swear. Typical. 4:12 I like the detail that Moon refers to himself in third person, or more like he just refers to his old/past self as “Moon” instead of “Me” and etc. Since technically it wasn’t him. But at the same time, it was. 4:58 Feels like Ruin is actually telling a story, like he’s telling the story in full on depth and description as if he were reading an actual book. 5:38 Happy? Probably the happiest this family can get, I suppose. It’s not like their happiness ever lasts long though, since something always has to screw them over 6:34 Actually shows how much Monty has does for this family. Even before Earth, before Lunar. Monty has been here since the very beginning. I mean, sure they were sorta a prick before who only really seemed to care about getting money. But they still cared about Sun and Moon. And they’ve also changed. They’ve had a lot of character development. I think Lunar helped with that tbh. Opened up a lot more with the little fellow around. I mean, that’s two people who have literally said “Thanks to Monty” so far. 8:44 I feel like they’re missing some parts of the story, or going back to fill some things up. Also forgot to mention how Sun kinda killed BloodMoon I believe, but like can’t really blame them because the amount of lore this show has is sorta crazy. 9:00 I know. Crazy. Very surprising. Just like the fact gamers can actually touch grass once in a while. Unexpected, isn’t it? 9:55 LMAO “Babbling baby” Really gives off the vibes he’s still evil honestly. Rather funny though, I wonder if Sun heard that? Probably not, I assume he would’ve reacted in some way. 12:29 The fact Monty gave Eclipse the star, yet Lunar still got killed. It’s sad to know that Lunar would’ve died either way, though what was Monty expecting, really? Why would he trust that Dorito looking man? 14:00 Kinda funny how they forget to switch the characters sometimes, like sometimes Sun speaks but Moon is on the screen, or the other way around. And that time they just straight up show Sun transforming into Moon on the spot lmao. 16:11 Of course. Since when can anyone in this family catch a break? Especially Sun. Like oh my gosh, is his cleaning even a coping mechanism if he kinda overdoes it multiple times? I mean he’s gone overboard with it plenty of times but bro just lied to Earth that one time she actually tried to give him actual therapy, and said he doesn’t?? 16:36 WRONG. 16:52 Not so sure about that anymore. 20:05 THEN ECLIPSE AKA THEIR WORSE PROBLEM POSSIBLY RETURNS, LOT OF THEORIES ABOUT THAT SO KINDA DEBATABLE WHETHER ITS HIM, HIM OR NOT BUT YK. AND THEN THEY SUFFER ONCE AGAIN :D I did a lot more edits but they didn’t save and stuff, which low-key annoyed about that but yk. I ain’t spending all day redoing them, so it is what it is. This comment is kinda long anyway, so…I went back and added some of the ones I did before as well anyway, the ones I remembered anyhow. Love how Solar explained how Eclipse came to be as well, seen as he technically is Eclipse. Wondering how they fit all of this lore into 20 minutes though, I mean I know they missed a few parts but pretty incredible how well they managed to summarise the whole story though. THIS NEEDS TO BE MORE THAN 20 MINUTES- I love how it's Sun, Moon, and the others explaining it rather than a boring normal narrator voice. Those boring narrator voices in films are one of the things that make me click off then come back later. I do it with these vids too but mainly because i watch some other things as well but i do finish the videos. Im glad theyre recognising their mistakes. It shows that theyre getting more mature and realising that they were wrong with some things.

Ooooo this was such a good idea! Having a nice, relatively concise summary of the lore is so helpful. I love how they handled the narration! I also love that Ruin - being probably the most theater kid of them all - is the narrator for a number of the interim/outside narrative bits. And kudos to Solar for narrating the Eclipse bits, lol.

I had a thought-remember when Sun expelled Eclipse from his head? What if that small chance of him ending up broken in a forest somewhere actually happened, and the Eclipse that we had been dealing with since that was just a back up that the original Eclipse created. One without empathy. Think about it-the original Eclipse had started to care for Lunar, even if he didn’t want to, so it might make sense if he got rid of his empathy in his backups. This could mean that the Eclipse from the balcony was the one with empathy, which could prove to be interesting given what the backup did.

As someone who’s been watching the sun and moon show from the very beginning I think this is going to be very useful for people trying to get into or start watching the sun and moon show.
