The origin story of the Yamaha corporation is very fascinating. I share it with you today.

I bought a cheap Yamaha strat, as a temporary replacement for my main guitar, coz I needed to replace the volume and tone pots, so in the meantime, bought the cheapest electric that I could record with, cost me about 110 pounds, with a practice amp, and nearly 14 years later, it's my main "old axe" now, coz I loved it so much, and customised it to sound better, so, yep, Yamaha is always great value for low prices, the motorcyclist also think the same way too.

Sometimes the less expensive guitars are the ones you always reach for!

Awesome story Bro. Very few people know that Cubase is owned by Yamaha which is one reason I believe Cubase stock plugins are as good as any 'after market' plugins. Yamaha don't make a single bad product that I know of. I have an amazing Yamaha acoustic. I went into a large music store and I wasn't looking at budget I just wanted a good acoustic. The store I went to had a guitar room with a whole wall of acoustics and all the 'famous' brands were there. I must have spent an hour there and I played just about all the guitars they had and the Yamaha was by far the best sounding. Doing a direct comparison in the same room at the same time was the best way to compare and I left that store with my Yamaha which I still have today. I paid about $1000 for it and that was 30% the price of the more 'high end' guitars they had but it just sounded better than all the others some of which were 3 or 4 times the price.
