Interesting! 08:17 - I didn't know that there were instrument controls behind the graphic of the instrument (click x). I used the Product Manager to perform the downloads (and installation) so it installed both the instrument and the sounds in things like SampleTank 4 MAX, but the installer for Miroslav Philharmonic bombed out a few times on the downloads, and I had to keep retrying, and ended up manually downloading the sounds instead, which was faster overall. I opened one ticket with IK support (on evening of 10/4/24) and two more on 10/8/24, and got a response to one of them (regarding Custom Shop installation failure), but nothing yet on the other two. I will reply to this comment when I hear back. I would certainly agree that IK could do a better job of providing installation guidance and more help articles on installation issues and options. I've scoured the site and could not find any articles from them that covered the issues and error messages that I encountered. The specific details that you provide and examples of your issues are very helpful because they are similar to what I experienced myself, so I don't feel that I'm doing something wrong or just being dumb.

Let's not forget too that the downloading and installing the softwares is way more complicated than it needs to be I had gotten something it happened to be a free product and I was having a hard time installing and I actually never installed it and I just said never mind uninstall everything including the installer and said never again.

7 years later... This was fantastic. Cubase is such a behemoth that it's easy to get lost in the wilderness. I've got an inexplicable delay on the MIDI click, so it doesn't synch with the audio click or the rest of the tracks. I don't like the audio click and always used MIDI in earlier versions, but can't with C.12 until I fix the problem. This gives me alternatives - I like the 'shaker', and might even try a tambourine. I wonder if it's possible to apply a 'swing' to the click. I'm sure I've seen a swing setting somewhere but not sure where or how to apply it. These days you can just ask GPT4, but it often states settings that don't exist, or it's just hallucinating a load of BS and pretending it knows.
