I am not Amish but before I found Eli's channel I always thought that the Amish were Christian. These stories have opened my eyes towards the Amish, I will never look at the Amish children that I see the same again. ❤

Not all Amish are Christians, but I would venture to say 98% of those I know are. Eli's story is definitely in the minority.

Are you aware of the MAP Ministry in Ohio? They are a very well established ministry and have been in existence since 2000. They send out tons of literature all over the country for the Amish to learn about God. They keep getting phone calls from Amish asking them to not send the literature. According to MAP, there is only a very small percentage of Amish who are believers. I would say l agree. The Amish made an attempt to kidnap and institutionalize me because of my faith in Jesus. Thankfully the police got involved and got me out.

This was really an amazing interview, I very much enjoyed listening. I hope that the Amish who are searching for answers and truth come across this video. "We do good works not to become saved, but because we *are* saved." That is quite an epiphany if you understand and are open to learning. Don't doubt your salvation. If you don't believe that what Jesus did for us when he died on the cross for us is enough, you are crucifying him anew. Jesus was only to be crucified once. Many valuable teachings in this video. Excellent. 💯 I love to see your enthusiasm for learning about and developing a relationship with Christ. Prayers for you, may you have much success in all that you endeavor to do here.

Hmm, my conviction is no , but many Christians believe that too, but they might have tattoos from earlier life, but I also don't think you can say it's a sin, I just wouldn't want to mark up my skin, it's the temple of God
