I went to the same school as the boy, I graduated one year before. He was highly intelligent, an academic, and he excelled through his education. He was DUX of the school when he graduated, achieving ridiculously high results in his final examinations. I also hung out with his brother from time to time, who actually graduated a year before I did. About a year or so after Zyzz graduated, I saw him and my jaw dropped. I almost didn't recognise him. He went from the quiet shy kid to the icon beaming with confidence. He held the world in the palm of his hand. RIP kid

Agree mate. I love lifting, in fact I think if one is able, they need to lift. Resistance training will improve every square inch of your body and one needs not do much of it once they have many a lifting cycles under their belt. But as you said, there is also no substitute for being able to move your body freely through this planet, never a better or more free feeling. I spent the first decade of my lifting not stretching and barely doing cardio and was locked in a stiff, muscle bound frame that I assumed was just overloaded. Wrong, I just wasn't moving. I am now the same weight and my body feels as good and limber as it did as a teenager.

@@dudemanismadcool True. Whatever works for your body do that. The truth is no one need huge muscles tbh other than models, actors, bodybuilders or some powerlifters etc. Even if we talk about things like army, hiking, cycling or running you burn a lot of calories doing these activities and big muscles might even be more of a problem than a good thing in these scenarios. A good example for me is Bruce Lee he wasn't a "big muscular dude" but looked fit and did amazing martial arts and movies. I strive more for his kind of body.

Agree. I'm older now and wasted so many years trying to get big. Nothing worked (stayed natty). Bad genetics. I just couldn't accept that I'd always be a skinny non muscular dude. Until my late 30s, when I started putting on fat lol. Now my focus is just staying healthy, watching my cholesterol, running the treadmill, active lifestyle, clean diet, etc. I took the lean look of my younger days for granted because I was so hyperfocused on mass. I still lift because it improves metabolism and other benefits, but not as concerned about going heavy (low reps). And no longer 6 days a week like I did for so many years. Now I'm almost back to my weight in my 20s and feel good.

enjoy having a fast metabolism cos I was perpetually slim and by mid 30's it slowed to a point where I could get a belly if I stopped being active. But still having a fast metabolism at your age will carry you a long way for many years.

@@The-Black-Deathyup, he went to my school. Younger than me. Copied people and came to the gym and started blasting gear he was buying off my mate. His brother said is just his follower who has the personality of a bag of dicks. The u mirin was copied from on of my mates and we were always being morons with the sick khunt talk etc which he then used for himself. They were both insecure little guys and got the typical false ego you get from blasting gear. Though he was always nice to us mainly because he was always smaller. Gotta give it to him for getting the fame he did, all he did was promote the stupid western Sydney bogan/ lebbo culture to the world. Though with fame comes the dick riders and all the kids that think he made it all himself. Good for him for putting gym culture out there though. Not so much the drug abuse but
