I totally get it. I lost both my mom and then my 14 year old cat a week later last February. I adopted another cat 5 months later and he’s helped me sooo much during the grieving process.

I am so happy for you both and Remi. Charles has a new spark in his eyes. I teared up when I saw Charles asleep on the couch with one of the pups on top of him. it was so sweet. Allie when you were talking I was crying along with you I do feel that you will get your adult fur baby when the time is right and you will know. You are the best parents any dog or animal could have. I found your channel years ago when you lost I believe his name was Colby Coby, Charles family's dog and it was so heartbreaking but made me fall in love with you guys and how much you cared. 🥰

I saw the same thing on December 30 when Charles was sleeping on the Couch and the pup was on his chest snuggling. I also teared up When Allie was whispering her rant about diesels passing and the memories that it brought. I'm sure you may decide to get a dog that's about 1 year or 2 at the right moment of comfort! I also remember Colby And Tyson ! There were stars part of the time of your series

Our dog we had since a puppy passed away and the very next day we adopted another older dog, shes wonderful and helped us heal. Im sure the pups will do the same to your family.

Geez, y'all all giving me puppy fever. Training my puppy gave me the most rewarding feeling and I wish I could help with these two little cuties. I'm no master teacher or nothing but I love learning with Shadow (my dog) what works best for him. I did one set of puppy classes at petsmart just because they were free (I worked in the salon at the time). He was far beyond the rest of the class in his training but the most important thing he knows was learned there: NOW! Unlike Come, for Shadow it means drop what you're doing, get here now and that he will be restrained by leash or put in a position to assure his safety. So important.

I got my puppy a little over a month after I had to make the choice to put my 14 year old chiweenie to sleep. I had no plans at all to get a dog. I came across his picture and had this overwhelming feeling that he was supposed to be my dog. I truly believe my Kloe sent him to me to help heal my heart. It's been such a hard year and I still cry when I see pictures or watch videos of my sweet girl. She will forever be in my heart.

With puppy training I would 100% recommend that they go to training school separately. This helps with littermate syndrome and they’ll get special 1:1 time with you ❤

I learned a long time ago... Sometimes it's not only the animal that gets 'rescued'. The choice is made not only by the humans, but by the animal as well. You may not have found them as much as they found you. Cute pups too. You will do well by them and they have found a very good home.

Personally, I think not only was Rem ready, but I think Charles has needed this more than he's been letting on, obv I'm just an audience member but I don't think his impulse "let's just do this" was total impulse. And it's honestly better to get Allie back with dogs sooner than charles cause her heart is so big that I don't think she could go as long as char could without dogs. It's just a family so full of love :)

If I was in a position to have dogs I’d probably have a few, I see so many videos on Instagram of dogs that have spent years in a shelter one dog was 11 years old and had spent his entire life in the shelter.
