An iconic landmark of Yangon for over a century, The Strand has been restored to its rightful place as The Grand Dame of Yangon, following an extensive renovation project which has maintained the architectural features, ever-mindful of its heritage. Having played host to famous explorers and raconteurs alike since 1901, the teak floors, charming ceiling fans and authentic period furnishings remain, whilst the Suites have enjoyed an overhaul of their infrastructure.
