To me her best work on screen was when partnered wit Mario Lanza. Thank you for this tribute!

Her voice in the Desert Song alongside Gordon Macrae was at its peak. A great singer indeed.

I adored her in film musicals. Quite magical. Her duet with Howard Keel in Showboat captivated me. I must have been a very immature 14 year old when I saw it at cinema. I never saw Kissing Bandit but have loved Frank Sinatra since hearing records in 1940s.

I saw her when she did the Camelot tour in 1962 in Chicago with Louis Hayward as King Arthur. Our high school had arrangements with the theaters to allow chorus members to see shows for free by doing small jobs. In this instance my friend and I worked the cloak room. The Shubert had us usher in the balcony. What a wonderful experience for young students to be able to see top-notch theater.

A most beautiful and talented woman. If possible I try to always catch her musicals on TV. If her ending was "sad", it was most sad for her fans. Kathryn, by almost anyone's standards, led a remarkable, rewarding, happy and talent-filled life. What more could anyone ask for? I'm glad I can continue to appreciate her on TV. (Did the narrator call the opera, "Le BoMe"?)

Katheryn Grayson had a marvelous voice. I enjoyed all her movies. She had quite a presence in front of the camera. I liked the fact she could look so very innocent while being attractive to her male leads.

Who she didn't like, and who nobody liked, was Oreste Kirkup, who was her co star in the dreadful Vagabond King. According to Zsa Zsa Gabor, she had a relationship with Lanza. But who cares??

What was strange and sad about it?? She had a great career on film and on the stage, and passed away at 88 in her sleep. Who writes this garbage???

I just saw her in 3 movies. I like old movies. I watch TCM. Last week I saw her in, It happened in Brooklyn, Showboat & That Midnight Kiss. I just saw The Kissing Bandit with Frank Sinatra. Her singing was beautiful. She looked so beautiful in that film. Frank looked handsome & his singing was good too. I’m sick of the new movies, so I’m enjoying ones I never saw before.

Is is really that "strange" that she died in her sleep, in her 80s... Seems pretty natural, in fact.

Informative video, but why did you give it such an unsuitable title? There seems to have been nothing strange or tragic about her passing at a mature age. Do you just invent something 'mysterious and senational' in order to attract viewers? It's off-putting.

Oh Dear God. Would you people GIVE IT UP. These commercials used to be on during the day time while the retirees like my grandparents were sitting home. Guys, if you have retiree health problems in your mid life, you're drinking too much GD Alcohol and taking too many PILLS! Oh My God1 Love, Don xoxo
@DonNeuhauser-w8f10 ай бұрын
Chronic? Chronic back pain and other Chronic health conditions are probably related to being retired in your 60s and sitting in the same chair all day watching tv. I'm not sure how many people have pensions that they retire young and sit in a chair through their 60s. CIA, how much CHRONIC back pain do we now have? Love, Don xoxo
