One of my biggest fears is not being able to turn around. Glad you found a place!

That's great that you get such good vibes from the campsite. I can only imagine what it's like to wake up and have coffee with that kind of view!

You are right. I try to never forget how lucky I am! 🌵🌲🐕🐕🦺

You'd be amazed at some of the places here in Utah where I've seen some large rigs get in to.

You don’t have to explain. Either you got it or you don’t! I’m 1 year away from joining the nomad lifestyle and I can’t wait!

I use a ground cloth under my camper for the dogs so when they go under to lay down they are not always laying in the dirt. I also use one for the door area for their beds and water it really helps to keep all the dirt off the dogs and out of the camper and truck.

You could raise the front of the trailer a few more inches with the trailer jack while still connected to the truck.
@GotOutАй бұрын
Exactly right. I do that technique sometimes. 🌵🌲

I can’t explain it either but I get it. I can’t do full time but am out there six month of every year until I can’t anymore. If circumstances made me able to be full time, I’d give it a go. I’m 73.

Obviously, there's craziness all across the US, but just glad you found another good camp site. Mainly interested in temperatures and humidities, but locations are key. You are doing a great job. And years ago, when I expressed my disgust at animal carcasses littering the roadway, my boss at the time said, buzzards gotta eat too. 😎

You should get a ebike so you could park by a turnaround and explore for a campsite. Save on gas and less worrying. God bless😊.

It’s a perfect suggestion and I’m working on it… 🌲🌵

I swear I can smell the sage brush. It reminds me of how nasty it makes antelope taste. LOL I think I'd want there to be at least one other camper in the area. Being the only human for miles would be a little unnerving. Nice job backing! And the boards under the tires made perfect sense to me. Good plan putting wheel chocks under the trailer tires. Without them, the only thing stopping the whole works from rolling is your truck's transmission (and emergency brake, if you set it). That can be hard on the transmission over time. :)

I do ALWAYS use the ebrake

I have to say about the dead vulture that myself I’d have to find a stick to turn it over to see why it died. Be safe out there for rattlesnakes. Watch Dodger and Eco so there safe also. Looks like a nice place.

What size is your trailer? And do you have a video of the inside of your trailer?
@GotOutАй бұрын
It’s a 20’ trailer. I wouldn’t want anything bigger. Fits me and my two dogs perfectly. I have not done a tour of the trailer. It’s pretty typical Of any trailer inside, really. 🌵🌲

@nancy27cАй бұрын
Is what legal? Camping on BLM land is specifically what it was intended for. Recreational use. Up to 14 days in most cases.
