The Strange City of Phnom Penh, Cambodia🇰🇭

On today’s episode, I dive into the streets and mix with the locals of Phnom Penh. I join in with games on the side of the Mekong River, while explaining this rivers significance, along with the possible troubles with chinas control on the Mekong.
We look at the rapid development of this city and the foreign powers who are funding it. A local Tok Tok driver takes me around. We stop and try some street food and look at the historical monuments. Later in the evening I enter the popular night markets and try a bunch of strange local food.
I go for a stroll down the old white men street, explain abit about the nightlife and what happens here. Then we head back to our hotel and watch the storm roll in.

6:39 Congratulations Cambodia, a lot of positive things, Fnompenh municipality is developing very well. However, there will be downsides. China doesn't give anyone anything for free, are they good people? Are not! They want profits, influence and most importantly, they want Cambodia to be a card to restrain Thailand and Vietnam. 50 years ago, it was Deng Xiaoping who supported Pol Pot in Cambodia's great leap forward, causing a genocide that killed 2 million Cambodians. Be careful with any country. China and Cambodia's trade is 14 billion USD while that of China and Vietnam is about 190 billion USD. Vietnam is very important to China, they will be the number 2 trading partner after the US within a few years. . China wants Cambodia to be a card to stand in Vietnam's way when necessary, many Chinese KZbinrs have admitted that. Therefore, Cambodia should be alert and not depend on anyone too much, it is better to balance between China, America, Vietnam, and Thailand. Wishing you Cambodia's development. Tks
