That guy going back to her even though she had destroyed him could have been a form of trauma bonding.

Australia provides a rich stream of strange and baffling crimes - solved and unsolved. The 'bodies in the barrels' murders springs to mind.

In Australia, women can get away with almost anything. Only in 2001 the first woman to get life in prison tells you everything

I can kinda relate to the knives above the bed tho. As a teenager I was proud of the skills aquired with my nunchucks, and they remained at arms reach at all times (and also hung above my bed at night). Not so much for self defense or as a weapon, I would more so regard them as a hobby. On the flip side.. maybe that just shows I'm a similar type of crazy as she is, who knows :p

The Officer seeing a 'sheet' at first...this is a psychological phenomenon. If it's something so way out and unexpected and never before seen, your brain just can it comprehend and you literally see something else. I've experienced this myself it's strange...the sudden clarity with the shock that follows...shiver. ps...it's Dissociation NOT disassociation. Just saying:) thanks for the post guys!

Tenterfield is also where The Boy from Oz was born. He got the hell outta Tenterfield! Its actually a nice little town in north west New South Wales on the east side of Australia. Surrounded by wide flat farming plains. Edit: I mean Peter Allen - played to great acclaim in a stage show by Hugh Jackman. "When my baby, oh when my baby smiles at me I go to Rio!"

Idk about others, but even if I logically know I need to get someone out of my life, guilt tripping still gets me. Nothing all that bad has happened dating wise (yet) but it did do a lot of emotional damage and I know I need to figure out how to stand up for myself. What I’m saying is that emotional manipulation can keep someone in a bad relationship very easily.

I want to have sympathy for price but he literally knew he was gonna die. To the point where his friends told him not to go home and leave her. My god man, why did you fall asleep next to her if you knew what she was gonna do . Wtf

Also, look up borderline personality disorder. Admittedly she is an extreme example of it, but it kind of explains her actions.

People use their childhood for excuses for horrific crimes. My childhood was awful thanks to my egg donor allowing me to be sexually abused. I didn’t abuse my son and went on with my life and became a nurse. I say there’s no rehab and no excuse. It’s just doing what you want and blaming everyone else

Im not sure if she loved her kids ... not every woman does it just because she's the mother. it reminds me of a german case ... that woman will probably come out of prison ... not cool.

I wonder if Katherine was affected by FASD? Her mum drank? When pregnant possibly. The prevalence of FASD affected children in Australia is currently 1/10. I know this is a while ago. Not everyone affected by foetal alcohol syndrome has such negative affect...But it can commonly cause a very short fuse and anti social behaviour. Add to that, the fact that Katherine definitely had a suite childhood and it is a recipe for disaster. I believe that the woman that pushed the old man off the bus in USA (he died) has FASD. Not everyone exhibits the facial features connected with the syndrome but that woman does have them.
