@@DaveDVideoMaker what would he know? But seriously in new zealand and Australia they taste of scallop, and are very tender. But we eat them straight out of the water, as fresh as you can get.

@@DeRien8 My knowledge of sea and sea life is slim to none, never really bothered to learn about it. I do know there is a creature, similar to a snail - dont know its name, that when it out grows its shell, it migrates to a new one. I was thinking somewhere in that field. NOW I know and will use it as a pick up line haha ^_^

@@CTOHeadShot51 smiles.. the other animal you mentioned is a hermit crab.. it has a "bare bottom" which he slips into an empty shell.. he has to move to larger shells as he grows..

I have never seen them like that in Canada. That might be in part because they are not that common end very expensive, but I have had them a few times. Certainly not at a chippy.

I've never heard anyone from MD/Baltimore say scollop. The pronunciation in this video is very foreign to me.
