Damn Dave, I think I learned more from this lesson than I ever have before. I don't know what it is, but you have a way of explaining and showing things in such a way that really hits home for me. I get it now, because David Brewster showed it to me and explained it in a way that made perfect sense. You the MAN!

Great lesson! The Stranger Things Theme always reminds me of the music from Phantasm, both in the similarity of the progression behind things and the fact that it functions as almost another actor on the show.

Very cool! Great lesson as always! I really dig the synth sounds from the 80s. I actually ran into Natalie Dyer (Nancy) and Charlie Heaton (Johnathan) at a gig two weeks ago playing in Atlanta.

David have you ever thought a lot about EXACTLY what you do with you picking hand in terms of technique or is it something you've naturally done? I noticed today that rather than turning your wrist like a key lock like most players you move your thumb and index in an almost waving fashion. I bought Power Picking some time ago, but would love to see a video analyzing what you are doing with your hand/fingers.

LATE NIGHT, Can you make a video lesson about "finger switching/Finger Swapping" when playing scales? If you take a major or minor scale in box#1 but you can finger switch/finger swap on any scale degree note which will SHIFT the scale pattern to the right or left on the fret board. Randy Rhoads would often do this violin technique which I think they used violin drill exercises doing this finger switching/finger swapping technique to run up and down major scales and minor scales. You can replace any scale degree and finger switch/finger swap, this will cause a SHIFT to the left or right of the scale pattern

Hi David, Love your lessons and content. I recently heard that Manny Charlton from Nazareth passed away so I came right here to see if you had any lessons or content on Nazareth or Manny and sadly you don't. Do you think you might put something together and maybe enlighten those that don't know of Manny's many riffs and chops? I know I would appreciate it 👍

So are you recording your amp or just getting the room sound from the camera? Sounds fine as is, I'm just wondering cause I'm trying to make my own videos. 🤘

Is there any reason to not think of the key for this as E natural minor/Aeolian?
