As a coach employee, I so enjoyed walking down memory lane with you and going through the timeline of Coach. I even learned a few things, let’s bring back Coach furniture! I remember the day we announced Stewart at our new creative director and I could wait to see how Coach was going to grow. Coach is the best company I’ve ever worked for and will never leave. Fan for life.

I love Coach. The quality is excellent. My father bought me a Coach work tote when I started working in 1989. I didn’t really appreciate the brand back then. Every woman in NYC had a Coach bag and I thought they were too plain for my taste. But I became obsessed with Coach during the pandemic, especially vintage Coach. If I could travel back in time I’d buy half their stock and bring it back to the future.

Thanks for all your hard work. I started my journey of comtemporary bags in Dec of 2020 by watching you channel actually. I started out simple, with 1 or 2 bags. I now have about 40 coach bags. I collect the rogue bags, love the soft Tabbys bag. I enjoy using the satchel bags, like Elise for everyday. So you are the reason, I'm in this world. I have couple of Rebecca Minkoff bags, and New York brand Think Rolyn, but Coach is my favorite. Have got into the luxury market yet, except for 1 Louis Vittion bag, plus some slg from LV. Thank you for all your hard work and research.

I became a Coach loyalist in the late 2000s. My first bag was the Borough bag in Alpine Green. My favorite time for Coach, thus far, was the 1941 collection, which I think aligned with the 75th anniversary. That was the hay day for me. While I'm still a loyalist (just added a new Rogue 26 & a tea rose Rogue Top Handle to my collection), I don't get the hype around the Tabby, but it seems I'm in the minority. Please bring back the regular size Cassie (I have 8 🙄). Awesome video!

I love your videos, so refreshing to see content like this. Keep up the series. I always loved coach when my parents would take us to the mall to window shop. Could not afford or did not feel comfortable asking my parents for a bag but they were so popular when I went to school. My first coach bag was a thrifted 1990s black backpack for 5 dollars preloved and a Hampton wicker Kelly bag I purchased of poshmark in 2014 when I got my first job. Then purchased my first bag in the boutique in 2017, loved every thing Stuart Viviers has done. The Rexy and tea roses is my favorite thing. Then started collecting coach from different years. These videos you are making are so helpful for me, Thank you Autumn.

What an incredible history lesson 🥰! As far as I can tell, no one has ever done something like this before Online you truly amaze! That was brilliant so thank you! I have always loved Coach…. And I think the only item you missed is the Coach leather car interiors that can be custom ordered and of course it’s my ultimate dream. 😊😊 I have several vintage saddle and stewardess bags and will never do away with them and now I am completely obsessed with the tabby and the dinky and on and on it goes.😂😂

Great video. Autumn! That was an excellent overview of Coach’s history. You did leave out one thing, and that is that Coach made leather interiors in cars! Maybe that’s something for another video. I’m pretty sure there were at least two or three companies that offered Coach leather. 😊

Awesome awesome video! I got excited this morning when I woke up and realized there would be a new Coach video on your channel today. I loved all of the historical information. I would love to have that timeline printed out where I could reference it. Possibly a new product for your shop? I have ALWAYS been curious about what was going on with the Coach designer(s) in 1997. Some of my very favorite styles seem to have only been made that year (the Winnie & the Belmont) and it's the year of the "true blue" color. If anyone can uncover what what going on at Coach that year, I believe you can! :]

Could you maybe get information about the company, especially the names, from the place where businesses are registered? I don’t know what it is called in America. They could confirm the name and date of any name changes perhaps? Fabulous research! Thank you for the video. I appreciate your work! 👍. Your Coach Cassie video was the first of your videos I ever looked at. I still think it is an excellent video.

What is the green middle bag top shelf over your left shoulder. Would be nice if you could edit in examples/pictures of designs you mention on screen - especially in your future one when you talk about collabs.

I'll be covering a lot of this material in depth in other videos and will be including images in those or showing the bags themselves. Not sure which green bag you mean since there are several on my shelves. From left to right on the top shelf the green bags are Teddy Blake bella 9", Coach madison satchel (2012 reissue of the original madison satchel), Coach peyton, and Tiffany & Fred bag that looks like a peekaboo.

Thank you Autumn but just a piece of advice: For such high informative videos with lots of facts and dates, you need visuals. You should not be the focus. Adding visuals and graphs will make these coach videos more successful. It is difficult to listen and take in all the information when you have no teaching aids whatsoever. You are a teacher, you know this.
@AutumnBeckman6 ай бұрын
Agreed, I do know that a video like this would benefit from more visuals. There are a handful of reasons I didn't include them, the main two being that 1) this video is intended to provide an overview and I will be going in depth on much of this information in future videos which WILL have more visuals. It makes more sense to include them there partly because I'm making a conscious effort to not be too repetitive considering that a lot of these videos will have overlapping information. 2) I simply ran out of time. I'd wanted to release this video two weeks ago but kept pushing it because there was always more to learn (I've been doing research on it for over a month). A few days ago I realized I could work on this for several more months and still not have all the information I wanted so I'd better just stop and film it. I actually talked about this (and several other things) when filming this video but cut them out. I didn't finish prepping the video until yesterday morning because I was still trying to add and organize information, then I attended a webinar, then filmed, then - in the middle of editing - the verdict was announced so I paused to watch the news for a bit. The video went up and hour and a half later than my usual posting time because of that. There are other reasons, too, but this comment is long enough. ;)
