As someone with similar mental issues like him the way he’s acting is so immature and no matter what acting like this in public is not okay and using a mental illness as an “excuse” for why you act the way you do I get it but it’s not an excused and you can control yourself. It’s hard but not impossible. And thank you so much Johnnie for always posting context and giving so much information

I’m bipolar and yes my episodes are an explanation of my behaviour, never an excuse! I hate how he uses his mental illness as a shield. Also he’s clearly a narc.
@candlelitpeppermintcarniva8509 Жыл бұрын
Excuse? Mental illness is the one thing he's honest about; the problem is he does nothing about it. I remember a mother who acted far worse than him because of trauma and her family actively making things worse. Mental illness does have an ugly, hard to explain side of it that ranges far from common disorder, and we need to stop villifying it, because people who do have great outbursts cannot seek reasonable help from stigma. The truth is that mental illness can straight up just make you into an asshole. If you had all that much restraint, you would have NO problems. People don't have miracle strength against everything you want. 'But it can be learned, some much longer than others.

Imma be 100 percent ho.est I hate we have we have this convo everytime someone with a mental disability does something seen as bad , but just because you symptoms are not as severe as his doesn't mean anything other than those are not your symptoms. This always reminds me of when I beg my parents to let me take my medicication for my adhd and they brush it off with well I ha e adhd to and I don't need it so you shouldn't either , like this doesn't really prove anything other than we have different symptoms and ways of coping with their disability . Disability is a spectrum and it's weird to claim someone is using it as an excuse when it could very well be.part of his symptoms.

My mother has Bipolar 1 (manic focused) and was undiagnosed till I was a teenager. The way he is acting is 100% in line with how she was to me growing up. And I will be honest it came alongside a tremendous amount of physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. So whatever is being recorded, he is most likely exponentially worse when the camera is off. He needs medication and professional help to get through this, and everyone around him will suffer as long as he is present in their life. This hurts so many others with mental health issues and bipolar who are managing their condition and aren’t like this. That “I’ve been sober” but everyone thought he wasn’t because he was crying situation actually also may not be him smoking or drinking, but instead be a situation of not taking medication and spiraling into a massive manic episode.
@twelveseventeen_ Жыл бұрын
I’m sorry you had to deal with that. My mother is/was also bipolar and abusive in several ways. Total train wreck. But, like you said - it makes it so difficult for others who manage their illness. Myself included. I was diagnosed years ago, yet thankfully, never had any of these major episodes. I am medicated, lightly, at that - and now have a teenager of my own. They have not experienced any of the insanity that we and others have.

Hit the nail right on the head! Most people I know that have bipolar 1 or 2 engage in risk taking behaviours that usually is more harmful to themselves rather then those around them E.g. Getting a new tattoo, substance abuse, gambling, unprotected sex, heck even skipping round their front yard naked ! But personally in all these people not one of them EVER displayed the sick predatory behaviour like in fouseys video. That's something else. Maybe mania heightens his sexual urges or something but he clearly has issues with understanding basic consent and showing GENUINE interest in people. I feel like that points more to psychosis and narcissistic tendencies.
