What a way to close the final album. I remember sitting in my room on a dreary morning listening to this. Can't believe it's been 9 years

Well your wish was granted But with this new record.. I just wish he never came back x'D Computers and Blues was the best last band album of all time in my opinion, now I feel like The Streets legacy was.. Ruined I hate this feeling, Skinner is a hell of an artist, I just hope he have more luck on his future work, because this new record sucks..

@@dotdot7417 “now I feel like the Streets legacy was ruined…” Be generous to the artist. Not every album can be Hunky Dory. Sometimes you get Helter Skelter sometimes you get The Frog Song. No amount Frog Song will ever stop me loving Helter Skelter :-)

I love how the streets never tried to sound anything but British and its served him well been around forever and you can recognise one of his tracks almost immediately. Too many people hate on the guy but all those old enough to know better have nothing but respect for the man, seriously just how big was original pirate material? Mental

The last verse is pure poetry, going from mug to mug and switching meanings really ties the whole song together.

William Blake, Matthew Arnold, The Clash, Who, Kinks,Jam, and all those who make me jealous I aint English well...Mikey Skinner just sussed it all up for you in this brilliant liittle fop didn't he? Pure unaffected magic that I am priviledged to be a contemporary of. Long live the Streets!

I've been unhappy with my job, I feel so unappreciated and disrespected. I've been wanting to quit for some time, then I come across this song a few days ago (though I've been a huge Streets fan since I was 13) and now I can put things in perspective. Sometimes you have to let go to move forward. This will help me and I'll be putting in my notice this week.
