The streets of JERUSALEM in 2024

After a week in Russia, I continue my journey to Israel. I spend a week visiting both sides of Jerusalem, where I encounter sites from the three Abrahamic religions. In this calm before the storm, I experience a tense situation from the ground in the hours leading up to one of the greatest threats in Levantine history.

I have discovered you because of your recent visit to Russia and I am not going to lie - I have had doubts about whether the Jerusalem part would be just as interesting to me. I am happy to announce, that - in fact - it was quite interesting. Thank you for sharing. Many other magical moments 🌟 and great score too! 🎶 I was raised Christian, but the Bible story never resonated with me. I can see though, why it does for a lot of people, and it is a beautiful thing to see it uniting diverse peoples and cultures across the world in a cosmopolitan city like Jerusalem. It’s the extremist variety breeding Christian nationalism that worries me. I want to live in a world where Christ isn’t hijacked for hate, but becomes hopeful symbol, not for apocalyptic visions of Earth’s end, but beautiful dreams of the world’s new beginning, like a Star Trek Jesus, advocating for the unification of our species into a type 1 global civilization, where we win eternity to live long and prosper 🖖🏽 escaping self destruction; becoming a space faring civilization, to meet the diversity that is almost certainly going to be found in a universe brimming with life! 👽 Looking forward to your next episode! ✨👏🏽✨ Enjoy seeing the world through your eyes! ✌🏽👁️🌏👁️
