New version of the compilation of strength elements, sorted according gymnastic code of points. Also I added and ranked some street workout moves. There is no kip or momentum moves in the video.
Sorry for the size of screen, had several problems with the editor..

i think the one arm handstand done in this video (legs straight, other arm besides body) is B, also press to handstand is easier than straddle planche. and the full rom hs pushup should be extended rom, same for pelican (extended rom planche push-up).

Great compilation! I agree with most apart from the "impossible" the one in the vid I'd call that a hard russian dip and not a true impossible, because the shoulders come in front of the elbow on the lift. Whereas the shoulders should be behind at all times which makes the move much much harder. Think I only seen 1 or 2 people actually do it out of the 10's of people that showcase that move. Il say its more a high C or even D depending on how far the shoulder is behind the elbow as it almost becomes a reverse planche/ victorian press.
@jordivangelder4395

You're right. To be honest i don't know much about the impossible, and didn't noticie that diference, but its true, it should be good to add the real impossible, its something like a victorian progression yeah.

If L-Sit and front lever are rated the same, I don’t think L-Sit deserve a ranking because it’s easily the most simple skill on here
@sk8kevhdf
@sk8kevhdf 4 жыл бұрын
Well you have to get into the l sit first. And thats not that easy keeping the rings still. Because a routine starts from a hang. As well back and front levers are happening under the rings so they are equally hard in terms of keeping the rings still. Nevertheless front hanging scale is seriously hard to perform.
@sk8kevhdf
@sk8kevhdf 4 жыл бұрын
And another thing is that the A valued skills can be combined later. For example it's a C-skill to press from an iron cross into a L sit. And that's hard. But it wouldnt exist without the L sit being a valued skill.

@@vishweshmanerkar4302 I would say if you can full planche on floor/ parallel-bars, you could allready start to perform a more or less cleaner straddle on rings. It varies from person to person. When I started performing straddle on floor, I couldn even do a tucked planche on rings back then.

Great vid. I disagreed with some of the street workout grades, but it is subjective to some extent. You should add the reverse planche (like a manna except fully laid out instead of v position) from the best of russian street workout video from this summer. Someone probably has the link.

Sick vid but many people think maltese on floor is harder than on rings and i've only seen that one guy do a victorian on parallel bars so why is it a C when only 1 known guy can do it?
@jordivangelder4395
@jordivangelder4395 10 жыл бұрын
I know about floor maltese, but the code of points says its a C. About victorian on pb maybe its not a common move cause not so much people try it. Also the one in this video it's done with a bit of forearm support. If someone do it in a wide pb like the maltese for example, then could be a D value.

No, Van Gelder means: from planche, lower to momentary back lever to maltese or, from maltese lower to momentary back lever to planche
@A-mx6pq
@A-mx6pq 26 күн бұрын
Because a van Gelder uses the stretch shorting cycle When you perform an eccentric contraction before a concentric contraction the concentric will be easier because you store energy during the eccentric which then can be released on the way up. This is especially important when rapidly lowering like in the van Gelder. Thus a zanetti is considerably harder than a van Gelder. Another example could be the 90 degree push up and a dead press (90dp starting from the floor). In the dead press you are performing only the concentric part of the 90 degree push up but it is still significantly harder. You probably need to be able to do 3 90 degree push up to perform a dead press.

It's weird in a way because one arm pull up is exactly that: A SINGLE arm skill. You would expect it to be one of the hardest things out there. In contrast most advanced gymnastic positions are TWO arm skills. It also has to be said that NOBODY has ever done a PERFECT Victorian yet. That is to say, body not perfectly straight and horizontal, arms not perfectly straight and horizontal. Danny Rodriguez is close but he doesn't quite have it perfect.

@AutismAlert Show link and I"ll check it out. PERFECT Victorian means body completely straight and horizontal, no piked hips, no bent knees, arms completely straight and horizontal. The best Victorians I've seen (Danny Rodriguez) still had a slight angle in the hip (10-20 degrees) and/or bent elbows (10-20 degrees) and/or body not perfectly horizontal.
