Bergkamp did not play well against Brazil in the semifinal of the World Cup of 1998. Who knows, perhaps Bringing in Jimmy during the second half would be clever idea. What’s more, he would destroy Italy in the semi final of Euro 2000 if he was given a chance to get on the field

If im not mistaken i think JFH is the only Oranje player to ever play for the National team deapite never playing professionally in the Eriedivise. Maybe only brazil had a deeper pool of world class strikers in the late 90s/early 00s. There was also: Kluivert Van Hooijdonk Maakay I blame Kluivert for that loss to Brazil. Even though he scored the equalizer....he missed so many chances.
