In early days Jules used to drink lots of alcohol which causes depression. Result: Those times Julian did not talk too much and sometimes looked sad or grumpy. Recently I've read that he is addicted to caffeine now, I can see how much he's speaking and dancing and joking around. I love the old Jules but I'm really enjoying this new hyperactive Julian Casablancas version.

@phoenixbrown-rigg44999 жыл бұрын
+10199ULTRAMATIC only predictions but I'd be a bit surprised if it sounded like the first two. I think we'll get more of a first impressions of the earth sort of album with a angles/comedown machine feel.
@10199ULTRAMATIC9 жыл бұрын
+Alberto Covert If the songs are good, then that's ok, but those 3 albums were the decline of the Strokes. It doesn't matter if some people liked those albums, they're weren't good or as good as the first two. I don't care if they change their sound (which they have), as long as the albums good.

This is one of the bands I rely on, it helps my humour change when I'm sad and it drives me crazy by some very addictive vibes they foster. I definitely love being carried by their insight and I don't care if any of you don't respect and commend the talet Julian shows up with. Being stuck to their music means you're severe whilst assessing music: you don't accept a rush of craziness when you miss a common link, there should always be a connection between the melodies and the lyrics which clarifies you're complicated. But if you love The Strokes you grasp what the difference between hundreds worthless musicians and the real artists is, that's why the relationship between you and a very energetic band will become stronger and stronger basically.

+Angel Treviño No I meant that he's talking a lot more than he used to, mostly rubbish, but I like it. He's more open and I find it funny how he thinks and talks about things, it makes the show more interesting. As for the lyrics...I don't really care if he messes them up, I think his performance is great, he cares about what he does and wants to give the audience a good show. What Julian lacks in memory sometimes he makes up with creativity and vision.

+Teddy Westside Yeah ! Believe me when I say that they are underrated . They were a big thing in back early 2000's . Have you heard COMEDOWN MACHINE its even better than some of their other records but where is the recognition ??? If its not underrated than what is ??
@DuBziDriFT8 жыл бұрын
+Kashyap Pandit I have heard Comedown Machine. I personally think it's their weakest album. The recognition isn't there for that album because it just wasn't perceived by the general audience as an exceptional or fantastic album! Their best stuff is their first stuff, and I think if not all, most Strokes fans would agree with me on that.
@18KASHYAP8 жыл бұрын
Yeah ! I couldn't agree more abt "IS THIS IT" is their best stuff . The album is the one the best album of all time . But, COMEDOWN MACHINE with its electro vibe is good too . I agree Strokes went a bit experimental on this album and we the fan couldn't get the classic Strokes but hey they are in the studio now and I sincerely hope the we get the Stuff like Is this it and angles again. Cheers to Strokes !!!
