This thing is absolutely nuts. I'll have to play with it some time. Also, a decent substitution for talismans is the new Blade of Mercy talisman. It increases attack power by 20% for 20 seconds after a critical hit and since this is stance break build, that will happen a lot.

⁠you can make it stronger with axe talisman blade of Mercy two handed talisman and lord of blood exultion this is blood affiny btw the differnt physick for it would be bloodsucking cracked tear but mine should be lower and it’s a good build

Started using this thing today on a bleed (arc/strength) build. Went straight to NG+ for the white mask which I sadly missed on NG. I'm shredding NG+ bosses with this. I killed NG+ Mohg before phase two and nihil. Beat Rellana solo first try in the dlc (I was still on NG, got to NG+ shortly after). This thing with Cragblade is without a doubt my favorite weapon in the entire game. I love the simplicity of bonking stuff with a giant arm.

Lol, I just leveled it up, respec'd and stuff, then found out the weapon was nerfed. Probably still a decent weapon, but the instant bleed procs are gone, and it lost a point in scaling.

The nerf didn’t change much. I still hit for 16K damage after 2 heavy’s.

@@meathead4699 it does still still like an incredibly strong weapon. I think the main change was the bleed in one hit, and double proc from the charged attack, and this is clearly not how it was intended to work. I think it lost a point in scaling, too.

@@meathead4699 PS: I smashed the hippo with it last night, too. it might have been the most attempts I've had on a boss in the game so far though. think it took me over 5 tries. it was just so aggressive, and I'm usually a dex gamer. Getting used to the slower attacks is definitely something, ah ha. I kept thinking "If only I had dual utchis" but when you manage to get a few attacks off, their health bars just vanish. Once I get the recommended ranged stuff as well, will have some more utility.

Can you also try the build for lightning perfume bottle its literally insane weapon, can do 30k dmg with just one use of ash of war rolling sparks, but also need buffs with howl of shabiri and golden vow as spell on any seal, I hope you try it and find even stronger for it.

I think they nerfed the weapon after a patch, its not scaling S on arcane at +25 for me, using blood affinity its only C

What would you recommend for my first playtrough? I started with your Bloodhound's Fang Build but looking at The Strongest Build in Elden Ring ? - NG+7, Main Bosses (Insane Bleed Build), is it a lot stronger or should i go dark moon or Blasphemous Blade? (and seems similiar to the strongest dex build just on str) I'm playing in the new version with DLC. Thank you for the vids btw keep up the good work!

Hey, honestly hard to say. They're all pretty optimized to some degree so I'd say just pick one that looks the most fun to you and experiment. The blasphemous blade build is good but it struggles against enemies resistant to fire and there's a decent amount of them in the DLC so keep that in mind.

I was having trouble helping push a buddy through the mohg boss fight. Switched to this weapon (on a dex/arc build) and noticed a difference. Switched the AoW to ... sorrow shriek? Lol added blood affinity and saw a HUGE difference. Beat mohg second try after.

How much do you need the mind to start with, please? I am just respecing, with around 160 levels. Am I better off getting the 80 arcane right away, and then leveling up mind afterwards, or should I maybe just go to 60 arcane to start with so I can get 30 in mind and endurance? I made the mistake of not taking note of how much endurance I had, before I respec'd, too.

for this build the ash of war takes very little fp so id say start with a good amount of arcane and endurance

I went the exact same build as you and started a NG+, breezed through earlier bosses @ lvl 185 but I don't deal even close to the damage you do, fully charged royal knights resolve on godfrey did 6k for you but only 3200ish on occult and 3400 on bleed, I dont get whats giving you double my damage

You can customize any affinity on any ash of war with the right wetblade. The one you need is the *black wetblade* found in *Nokron* next to the Mimic tear spirit ash
