3:08 Yes Chase, try out the Star-Lined Sword. It's my favorite DLC weapon so far. Do the L2 and then on the follow-up L2 delay it to roll catch. It's also got a couple true combos built into it so play around and test mix-ups with the L2s and R1s to see what combos with a friend before invading so you know what you're doing.

No. If you coop with a level 20 @ level 700 your stats are lowered. Invasions have level brackets. At max level you literally cannot invade 250. I think 301 is the lowest actually possible.

Hey Chase, been enjoying your content for a while now. Something I'd love to know is how you set up your controller layout and your technique (if you use claw grip or controller paddles, etc) for doing hard swaps and quick menuing. Seems to be an essential skill for invasions. Keep it up mate!

i actually have the default ps5 controls, i dont claw unless you see me running while im in my menu, then i quickly swap my right hand to a strange claw position. i use the index finger to hit the menu button, while my thumb holds O with the right have of it and hits x with the left half to confirm my item changes lol. My left hand while doing this is in the standard claw position.

Chase, if you want to take this even further you can. Use bleed infusion with the poison mist ash of war. Then wear the poison gloves from Belurar tower in your offhand, and the rot exultation talisman. If you want extra overkill use the mushroom crown or Varre mask too. Proc both bleed and poison and absolutely skyrocket your damage

Id love to see a video on the thrusting shields. Cool movesets with blocking heavies. They get access to both shield and a bunch of weapon ashes of war. If you have it in the left hand with a weapon aow it won't override your right hand's aow. Carian thrusting shield offhand plus milady main hand makes for a fun sword and board build that can 2 hand the shield to turtle up.

I had one of these drop yesterday. I can't wait to put it on Mushroom Tip, my RL 200 STR/ARC. He runs blood affinity poison mist on his weapons and has mushroom crown and kindred of rot's exultation. Adding this weapon with poison mist, an offhand poison hand (which I'm guessing will stack with the exultation and mushroom crown) and the two handed sword talisman... not to mention they added a consumable like exalted flesh that buffs your attack when you proc bleed... I think Mushroom Tip won the DLC.

The Black Steel Greathammer is pretty solid as a Sacred weapon due to the innate Faith scaling/Holy damage, obligatory Golden Land as well. Greatsword of Damnation is also a solid Str/Faith option. The Sunflower though: massive AR, strike damage, and has 2 follow-ups to the aow, and it's a colossal so you get good hyperarmor and trades. Vagabond can do 60/23/23/25/22/9/60/7 for example and not only do you get extremely good weapon variety and good damage on all the Faith stuff, but Lord's Heal restores about 1000 HP with the Gravel Seal which gets a respectable 282 scaling which then buffs Dragon Cult spells by 15% for free, by stacking a second one that's effectively 373 scaling which for reference at 80 Faith the Erdtree Seal has 353. I honestly decided on 60 pretty arbitrarily and turns out I get exactlly the right stats: 23 Mind for example is something I always try to hit since that's 137 FP and Golden Vow(47), Blessing of the Erdtree(60), *insert greater barrier of choice here*(30) equal that exactly

I personally love the smithscript hammer infuse it with frost or bleed and you can cause buildup whenever from whatever range and when up close the charged heavy hits multiple times and fairly hard plus the throw to hit them and anyone behind them
