Fun fact : Yoriichi has brother Michikatsu , or should i say , Kokushibo(uppermoon 1). Mitchikatsu/Kokushibo was very jealous of his brother , thats why he became a demon , he did become stronger , but not as strong as Yoriichi.

Okay so Yoriichi was the first demon slayer to create a breathing style. But he wasn't the first demon slayer. From what I've reasearched the first ever demon slayer is still unknown. One way to show that Yoriichi is not the first demon slayer is that Muzan is more than a century old while it was only 500 years ago that Yoriichi was a demon slayer. So Yoriichi became a demon slayer 500 years *after* Muzan became a demon. So there must have been hundreds of demon slayers before Yoriichi who had fought demons without breathing styles.
