I’m at the point now where I really do think the samurai may have been the first KN8 vessel. Depending on how much KN8 cared about his old vessel and his samurai comrades, it makes sense why KN8 is so angry with the Meireki Daikaiju😓

Just like Hoshina and No.10, didn't think they’d be a good match for each other in the battle but ended up with a deep connection. “Let’s have some fun” duo And I’m sure when Kafka and No.8 are finally able to talk properly with each other, they’ll have a deep connection as well. At that moment, I guess we’ll be able to hear both Kafka and No.8 say something along the lines of “So that’s why you want to kill? Alright let’s kill(Kaiju)”

I feel that 9 talking about a grudge is both about kafka’s grudge against Kaiju and No.8’s grudge against Kaiju since the past user of No.8 coulda gotten connected to 8 and 8 coulda felt attached to the samurai so when it saw no.9 kill all the humans it took a different form and had that grudge for 100s of year’s because it cared about the samurai (however sappy this may sound)

Another interesting point that branches from your idea is the influence of the first user. It’s first host that host influences the kaiju in such a way that it changes who can become a wielder. For example Hikari matched 4 but after wearing it for so long it left a ghost of her as part of its very being so 4 is very likely to pick or allow Kikoru to wield it because of Hikari influence on 4. So 8 might not have sensed Kafka rage, but the similarities it had with the samurai and chose him for those qualities.

This chapter was shocking and my mouth dropped when Kafka got impaled/doughnut by KN9 or some Kaiju. I wonder if the Kaiju the from past will have the abilities of all the number Kaijus or some kind of broken abilities. 💀🤔

Whats more interesting about this chapter is that the Meireki Daikaiju seems more like a Mutant than your average Daikaiju makes you wonder how did he manage to hide itself for so many years because its impossible for an uncontrollable mindless beast to do something like that and from #9 Statement its clear that #9 wasnt around for that long because he said that #8 appeared at the same time as him. Meaning someone did managed to seal him away till now And the way things going to me it seems like Kafka will most probably die in the end because there is a high possibility that he is the remanant of that past warrior who was only born to kill Meireki Daikaiju for his revenge and will be broken down along with #8 like i said previously it looks like they're more like natural defense system(like Godzilla) which appears only when the disaster is just that much of threat

I'm under the impression that this fight against the Meireki Era Kaiju will be an internal battle. With N°9 destroyed, this kaiju (I believe it's just his consciousness) will try to take over N°8's body to be his new avatar. My theory is that now we will discover the true origin of the Kaijus and Kafka will take on the responsibility of trying to defeat them definitively; Maybe he will face the real leaders there in the rift

in 112 it did feel like the fight ended too soon and that kn9 was hiding something bigger and this chapter we saw it and the fact that kafka and the kaiju inside him is not the strongest it can be just shows how powerful kafka can become. and it's funny how kn9 pulled kafka inside him and the small #9 made me laugh because he looks ugly asf and I think the end of series kafka may have a form similar to what we saw kn9 had hiding. Also i didn't realiize that kafka wasn't strong enough to beat kn9 but him being so mad made him able to do it this reminds me of a theory long ago that the kaiju get more powerful the angrier they are and seeing that only Kafka has been a mad kaiju because of his human emotions makes me wonder how powerful could of #9 had become if he did get angry
