I like the message that Death Gatling and the other heroes vs Garou portrayals. Death Gatling gathered a variety of heroes whom he respected and were strategically assembled. Even though they weren't S-Class they fought tooth and nail as commendable heroes that deserve respect for their duties. Their bout proves Death Gatlings claim that heroes that aren't S-Class have credibility and that heroes outside of S-Class have what it takes to stand up to powerhouses like Garou with the amount of difficulty Garou had with them. His point was that heroes are heroes, and there are excellent heroes outside of S-Class.

Sonic isn't a "the strongest" character. Sure he wins 99% of his fights, but canonically, thematically speaking, he is supposed to have MANY rivals who are in fact his equal. OPM is different from that, even DBZ is, for example Goku, 99% of the time is just stronger and better than vegeta. But sonic is ALWAYS stated to be relative to characters like shadow, knuckles, silver or blaze, for one reason or another

A lot of people compare the Garou vs Saitama fight to the webcomic, likely because on the first read the manga turns the conflict between heroes and villains on it's head into just a brawl basically. The webcomic version of the fight is usually seen as much deeper in philosophy and ideology, and webcomic readers think that the manga ruined ONE's point and just turn OPM into a basic shonen. Honestly I was on the side of the webcomic readers, I thought the manga fight wasnt as deep. After watching the video, it got a lot better in my eyes tho.

It’s crazy that characters like Goku and Gojo are even seen as “the strongest” by their fans. Goku is clearly weaker than a lot of characters in his verse, Gojo was defeated by Sukuna and admitted he was weaker. Saitama atleast is the strongest in his own verse.

Yup, you can't beat Saitama with physical force, but he's not all that smart since he failed the intelligent aspect of the hero exam, and he has yet to beat King even once in a video game. Personally while I would say Saitama could beat Goku, because of narrative weight, what I would actually want to see is Saitama and Goku trying ti play chess against each other. As for the narrative weight thing I mentioned, basically it means that Goku is permitted to lose his fights because he wasn't strong enough, Saitama isn't, he will never lose a fight because he wasn't strong enough to defeat his opponent, as displayed with Garou however he may lose a fight simply because he was too late to participate in it, or because the fight wasn't something that could be beaten with physical strength, like when he plays video games with King.

Saitamas whole character is to literally be "the strongest" no matter what happens characters like goku, all might, gojo, etc have hade to go all out against opponents and they get surpassed by others in their series. Unlike them, all it takes is one punch to fix anything for saitama. I cant see a universe where saitama just isn't "the strongest".

When you talk about consequences within the series Saitama is way over Gojo. Example one without Saitama Present the opm whole world would be far more dangerous. Saitama ends up killing powerful monsters in the back Beef cCake Carnage Kabuto, Vaccine Man, etc. Even Stated by one Beefcake without Saitama present Beefcake would rise to disaster level dragon. Those are the ones we have seen within the series it's Implied strong Monsters like disaster-level dragons are rare to come by but also add Saitama ends up killing them. Second Regarding Gojo being born Shifting the Balance of the World. In the recent chapters Going to Avoid Manga spoilers, it's mentioned Saitama is attracting the final villain from Removing his limiter Which is the reason Monsters are appearing to be stronger. You can still Give that to gojo if you like but I Argue consequences goes to Saitama all the way
