@tamirsudri1
@tamirsudri1 4 жыл бұрын
I mean for their size and frame it's a pretty good way of jogging And besides when lifting heavy weights you automatically stop breathing to conserve your strength since breathing makes your body move more and be less stable and with that much weight added it would be dangerous Not to mention it also makes your grip slightly better since you focus on that rather than breathing And you'd be a fool to try and run at full speed for such a short distance

@@kimaboe yeah except power cleans are just as risky if not more so than deadlifts. Lil' Bobbo "tiny Weiner" Oberst discounts one of the greatest exercises for building overall strength and power because it's a little risky. Bench and squats are scarier in my opinion, and besides you don't injure yourself in the gym, you injure yourself doing stuff in the real world like picking up a pencil that fell on the floor

@squashedeyeball

That's true. Look at Hafthor, who managed to get the third place in wsm 2019 while severely injuring his foot in the first event. Eddie said that those straps around his knees help him keep them in place. Before he started doing it, his knees were killing him in every overhead press. That's why he has gotten so strong in strict lifting, because he couldn't use his knees and hips for momentum. So the pain helped in making him the beast, in a way. Brian who got his hamstring badly torn in the last Arnold's Classics, due to the elephant bar world record event. Which was stupidly the first one to go (Several really strong guys got injured and out of the competition, because of that damned bar). He finished the competition regardless... And there some insane events later on, that absolutely, some of the toughest I can remember. And the list goes on.
