23:17 thing is, they set up TENTEN to do that exact thing! After Madara becomes the 10-tails Jinchuriki, he spits up the Amber Purifying Pot mid flight…and it lands on Guy, Lee, and Tenten. Tenten recognizes what it is and tells Guy and Lee “go backup everyone else, I’ll figure out how work this and catch up, and then maybe we can seal Madara!” …and then she’s forgotten about until the Infinite Tsukoyomi is activated because it’s Tenten and she’s allergic to screen time. Imagine the alternate Timeline where Sixpaths Naruto, Rinnesharingan Sasuke, and Juubidara are all duking it out, and Tenten runs in holding the pot Tenten “HEY MADARA!” Madara “what now- NOOOO!” (Sealing noises) And Tenten ends the war. (Although probably what happens next is while everyone is mid-celebration, Black Zetsu swoops in out of nowhere and grabs the pot and uses it as the catalyst for Kaguya’s resurrection, which I feel is a BETTER version of the plot twist instead of just Zetsu stabbing Madara like “by the way I was never working for you.”)

What Nick said about The Executioner Sword made me think: "How could the Executioner Sword be slightly better?" It can grow and gain more edges and spikes when it absorbs blood and does not just regenerate. Sure, gaining more size would make it more of a burden, but I love the idea that each time, it could appear in its standard form or as a crazy Swiss Army Knife-looking abomination. And maybe a true master could find a way to break off the new additions and launch them as projectiles.

There's the fact that the Chakra Cannon was being powered by regular shinobi. I'm pretty sure someone like Naruto could recharge it instantly by himself and use it as a machine gun. Now that's truly terrifying.

I will make the argument for kunai and maybe to a lesser extent, shuriken as my former No. 1 spot. That cannon was terrifying... 😅 Everyone has kunai and shuriken, it's like basic ammo for your armies guns. It may not do much typically it terms of damage with our mini boss protagonists, but everyone uses it and we do see a lot of people die from it but they're fodder characters. The main use it seems to have is for positioning which is itself absolutely crucial in any fight and it can be used in creative ways. -Sasuke and Naruto using the giant clone shuriken against Zabuza. -Shikamaru using it to extend his reach with his shadow jutsu, Temari fight as an example. -How broken was Minato with the flying raijin? 😅 -Granny Chio with her chakra threads. -Itachi hitting targets behind cover. -Be used to gain purchase on say a tree or rock or unstable ground. They may not be able to inflict as much raw damage as some of the other tools but they are so basic and necessary to all nations and individuals they really should be No 1. or 2. TLDR: Incredibly versatile, nationally and personally used weapons and tools.

Nick have you ever thought of it that midoria is just a copy of rock lee . Question... Could you consider Pain's ability to control 6 different bodies as a Puppeteering ability... Think about it. he attached chakra receptor throughout the body which he uses to control them. He even brought yahiko's body closer to him during the naruto fight to control it better. My theory is that he might not use chakra threads like those from sand village but rather he increase or decrease the chakra he applies there to contract or relax the respective muscle

9:15 I made Naruto OCs where the concept was basically "make Seven Swordsman members that actually fit their sword." So the person I gave Kubikiribōchō to uses the 8 gates. He has the strength to consistently break the sword so its ability is actually useful, usually breaking it by stabbing it (& the opponent) into a tree, trapping them there unless they want to pull themselves off. Plus once he uses the 8th gate its an infinitely breaking & regenerating sword... well infinitely for like a minute :P (I know "Naruto OCs" sounds cringe & bad but I've tried making my guys cool & good. I know giving someone the 8 gates is stereotypical but I think it fits here & is a unique spin on it)

Solid list, but I'd move the Chakra Gatling down off the list for Orochimaru's Sword of Kusanagi. Its just the Kubikiribōchō, but better, because it doesn't need blood to be Indestructible and its much easier to use due to its native size. Also, it can stretch to kilometers long. Also, it can be used telekinetically.

If you really wanna go down the road of the executioner's sword's ability, It actually has one of the most practical abilities in terms of swords. No matter how good you are, the edge of a blade erodes over time, but with the executioner's sword, as long as you're using it on a person, you never have to worry about that basic weakness of swords. To be fair though, we never even see someone sharpening a kunai in naruto so maybe none of the weapons have that very realistic problem.

One ninja that i think is kind of underrated are chakra blades. You can have an extremely effective weapon it just depends on you chakra nature. Wind amplifies cutting. Lightning amplifies thursting. Earth amplifies the hardness of your tool. Fire and water i dont think hasnt been explored but point being anyone could potentially access and use a chakra blade or tool.

I think not enough people gives Nuibari (the needle) the respect it deserve. Aside being useable as a super penetrating rapier, you can also sew dozens of enemies between each other, or use it as a giant senbon before injecting lightning or fire release in the cable, to electrocute or set ablaze the enemy. As for kiba i think that what set it appart is that the geometry + the lightning release makes it extremely sharp, and that the sword generate the lightning on its own without the need for the wielder to know raiton at all. Sure, a raiton user with a blade can achieve somehting similar, but likely not as optimized nor as balanced

Not that this is an in universe thing from what I’ve seen anyway, but the executioner’s sword being able to repair it’s self with others blood, would mean that it’s always sharp, and the edge would never dull so long as it’s being used for it’s intended purpose also means the blade has an infinite life because the iron comes back after every sharpening season (not saying it’s the best but irl that’d be pretty dang good)

Can you do a theory on Fugaku having the EMS. I was recently watching the anime(Itachis story) when Fugaku showed Itachi a possible Future. And when he is first talking to Itachi his MS is similar to Itachis just thinner with 3 filled in circles around the curved Tomoe of his MS but when he closes his eyes before showing his idea of the future capturing the Kyubii. He closes his eyes and when he opens the they changed. Not by much but three hallow circles appeared on the bottom of the curved tomoe of the MS along with the 3 filled in circles around them. Now I know the anime changes things and I haven’t read the manga in almost 20 years(damn I feel old) but was wondering what your thoughts would be on this!
