Spirit sword guy update and QOtE: IT HAPPENED!!! Happy Friday moshpit! There’s about 6 inches of snow on the ground outside, so work is closed. Power hasn’t so much as flickered, so I’m perfectly safe inside. To top it all off, I get a SPIRIT SWORD START on my snow day! Truly I have peaked. For the QotE, this run had almost all the “Tear Replacement” effects (items that cause Isaac to fire something other than tears, I.e; Brimstone, Moms Knife, Tech X, etc). My question is twofold: which of these effects do you think is is the strongest, and would you ever consider doing a theme week where you start with a different one of these items each day, as an experiment to see just how much they impact the run/maybe just for fun to stomp the game a little. Sinvicta has taken Spirit Sword 1 time in Repentence+ Sinvicta has started with Spirit Sword 1 times in Repentence+ Sinvicta has seen Spirit Sword 8 times in Repentence+ Days since spirit sword was last taken: 0 Episode Spirit Sword was taken: 53 (TODAY!!!) I had an idea of a Damocles curse. Double pedestals for the floor but you take double damage.

Personally, I thought of a "Curse of Greed" which would either increase the price of shop items/devil deals and makes item room items cost money OR would make it so, that you do not drop any pickups whatsoever. Might be a bit too strong but I like the idea to make a floor really challenging and also forces you to make big decisions for the rest of the run

In regards to that possible buff that was mentioned What about an item that you can use to grab your soul hearts and keep them And when you have 5 of them you can sacrifice them for increasing your weakest stat? That way if you want to play dangerously you can run on low health but increase your stats rather than use soul hearts as a form of temporary shielding And when it comes to the end when you either have a bunch of health from items or enough defensive power you can focus on rounding off your stats I don't play Issac I mainly watch these videos but I like the explanations on items and builds as it makes me think about synergies

Is that the second or third computer with those kind of stutters? It resembles the stutters from the computer before. Maybe it's the isaac save game complexity. But it could also be power related. Maybe buy a USV and plug it between the pc and the power outlet to get that out of the way? Would also be good in case of a power outage to not have your recordings lost...

speaking of cards, I never had luck with nvidia. they always had issues for me and the 3080 always caused audio issues and skips/lags since day 1 of getting it. I gave it to my brother and got an amd 6900 xt sapphire toxic and have had that for almost 2 years with no issues whatsoever
