Hiya mox! I'm just letting everyone know if it's not been found yet of a spell cool down bug when switching out spells in your inventory! The more spells you have, the more you can switch too and cast before you go through all there cool downs, very useful for stacking sunders and self casts before a bossfight!

Glitch or no that buffmeister is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for for the spellshot stabbomancer build I want to go for that uses the "violent momentum" stuff. Actually having a lower damage rapid fire spell in other slot would probably be better for that if this thing wasn't glitched so bad.

Not sure if anyone else has touched on this, but the skill "Imbued Weapon"s 'bonus damage' is calculated AFTER the buffmeister damage, so if you cast your left spell as well you will get a flat % dmg buff lol

A spell combination and playtstyle i found to be quite fun and OP. Equip an Arc Thunder spell with chanelling and summons lightning from the sky prefixes on your left hand. Then equip a frost spike spell with repeating class and spikes bounces from target to target. For the frost spike spell, one thing abiut the spell is that it will be useful even for lone enemies because the spikes BOUNCES FROM THE GROUND TOO. So if you target the frost spell with rapid prefix on one or many enemies, there will be a lot of frost spikes bouncing around dealing TONS of damage. For the Arc Thunder spell, probably one of if not the most damaging spell in the game on the condition that its channeling and summons lightning from above. The charge time for the spell is fairly long, which is why i recommended that you equip it on your left hand as if you do so, you can actually fire your gun while charging a spell on your left hand. So you could get something like a high damage smg or AR with a good amount of magazine and you're golden. Rotating between the two spells will basically ensure that you will never run out of spells to use so the damage uptime is pretty high. Just my two cents worth help it helps someone with their experience. It doesn't deal as much damage as the method in this video but still a fun way to play. :)

I play this game split screen with my wife, I'm a dual speller. I just used the triple Spike ice cast twice on either slot. When I cast them both of the same time I one shot pretty much everything. Including most bosses, if not then two shot

Problem is like most games with leaderboards you are gonna have people who either mod gear/skill points or just mod the leaderboard so it says like they beat all hard curses all levels in like -500 seconds with like 1,000,000 crystals earned and their skill tree would be like Spellshot: 44 Graveborn: 42.

if its an enchantment , it should gives you a buff on condition with a duration , so for example, if it increases your spell dmg by X amount for 12 sec after you use your action skill, then even if you switch weapon , you would still have the buff until the duration expires. duration can be extended if condition is met again in the meantime, depending on what the condition and / or duration timer is .

Nah I think this is a unintended interaction. Benefits from skills and weapon enchants seem allot weaker than what they used to but skills interact with one another a shit load. So the enchantments feel like the cherry on top vs the whole sunday

Most of your damage endgame comes from your skills mostly then gear then enchants, enchants increase damage a decent amount but you can still hit hard without good ones, im running a build and I don't have most of the enchants or gear but im still hitting for 50kish per spell cast with Moxsys cold snap build.

This is definitively a bug, someone set something so that the buffmeister spell accesses the damage in the normal spell slot, not thinking about the spell shot's second spell slot. This is going to get patched.

This exact issue existed with Salvador in Borderlands 2, as one weapon called pimpernel had bonus damage that used the other weapon's base damage and it was NEVER fixed. Borderlands has always been about finding a completely broken build, and that is a piece of the fun of it.
