Why are people in the comments hating because he is on steroids? There is not a single Weightlifter male or female in the Olympics who is not juiced to the gils. Yes, he is on drugs and so is everybody else. If you don't believe it do this: train Weightlifting for 12 months straight natural, then go on a cycle of 100mg testosterone suspension week + 20mg oxandrolone day for 3 months (super weak cycle compared to what these guys are using). After your first cycle you will never again even think that anybody could be an Olympic Weightlifter without steroids.

Some similar teen phenoms you might not know: Daniil Pushkaryov of Russia squatted 290 kg at age 17 and a bodyweight of 82.4 kg in 2017 this was a local level completion in Russia so international records couldn't be set. 19 year old Devin Mervau of the USA squatted 320 kg last year at 89.6 kg bodyweight in a USAPL meet. Once again not eligible for an international record but still a huge squat by a teen under 90 kg.
@cirodimarzio910 Жыл бұрын
Did you miss the little detail that Karlos is Olympic weightlifter not Power-lifter? He is squatting 280kg only to train a bit his legs for his main exercises, which are Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. 70% of his training goes into those two exercises and the rest is an addition to make them even stronger. Also those local competitions are so poorly peds tested that if the same guys try the same weights on international levels like EC, WC or OC they wont hit even 70% of that weight most likely due restriction of heavy gear abuse because of the regular testing lol
@emp100k Жыл бұрын
@@cirodimarzio910 Yes and 66% of their training goes to deadlift and bench (as powerlifting is a 3 lift sport). Though this kid trains squat as an accessory to Snatch and C&J he's till maxing out here to test his limit strength, just like they do, doesn't really matter how they gained that strength. Also if you think this guy isn't blasting just as much gear, you're delusional. Weightlifting has been a dirty sport for decades, not just with lifters cycling off to beat tests, but bribes, threats, you name it so no I don't trust him to be any cleaner than a powerlifter at a local competition. Oh by the way, Daniil and Devin lift in the FPR and USAPL (respectively), both of which are tested federations, not perfect I know, but certainly no less trustworthy than the IWF.
@cirodimarzio910 Жыл бұрын
@@emp100k "Weightlifting has been a dirty sport for decades, not just with lifters cycling off to beat tests, but bribes, threats" I absolutely agree with this and all those stuff are basically synonyms for russian success. If there is a russian athlete involved in the competition it basically means that everything was x3 - the gear, the bribes, the threats lol During the years the russians were going under the radar in 80% of the cases due judges bribing, political favours, etc., I wanna see how they are gonna get the medals without that since everyone hates them now. Countries like Bulgaria, Ukraine, Italy, Israel were wrongfully misjudged due Russia's involvement on political level in some sports for decades but that's over now) I also adore the superiority complex of the russians lmao They always think that they got someone who is better than the Olympic Champion, the World Champion, etc, (if it's not russian ofc:D) If I have tbh the russians should be glad that the situation in countries like Bulgaria isn't good for the past 2 decades+ or they would have seen gold medals in Rhythmic Gymnastics or Weightlifting particularly only through macaroni:D Btw, since that guy Daniil is so strong he should start competing on international level, get a quota and easy take the gold at the Olympics lmao
@zemm9003 Жыл бұрын
@@cirodimarzio910 this comment is absurd. You are obviously not a fan of the sport. We all know that all Olympic Weightlifters are on tons of gear. They wouldn't make the Olympics without steroids. People that think you can compete clean have obviously never taken anything in their lives.

@@cirodimarzio910 if you think THIS kid is not abusing steroids and growth hormones, think again. It's actually pretty common to do that in any weightlifting competition, Olympic or not.
