I liked the council communism introduction videos. This video though, feels like a U-turn, emotional one-sided rant without any historical and theoretical analysis on agreeing/disagreeing where for example policies and theoretical justification of USSR under Stalin’s leadership you disagree with. Especially on the national question, was interested in hearing your thoughts/disagreements were, but oh well. There’s no doubt there are problematic elements on the internet or movements, I could see with the emergence of “patriotic socialism” in US that there might also be some in UK. However, that does not reflect historical movement or current movements as a whole.

Hey there, Thanks for your comment. I was wondering if you were looking for a critque of the national question and theory of socialism in one country by Stalin from a council communist perspective or just my general thoughts. I was wondering if you were looking for something more sympathetic to marxist leninism - what positive contributions it's had on the labour movement. Namely the communist parties in Britain. Also, were you looking for a critque on patriotic socialism and where I think it has developed? Why it develops in communist parties and so on? If it is yes to all above I'm happy to make another video at some point addressing this. Take care,

@@AcidSoviets thanks for the response. I’m interested in your take or council-communist take on the national question. I have brought up patriotic socialism phenomena as a negative force in a communist and progressive movement. I have never intended to hear if you had on the matter, but with your reply, I’m very interested in what your opinions are on the subject.

I want to listen to your input but I had a difficult time following along. Might I suggest slowing down a bit and taking a silent breath every now and then. You tend to buldoze through your points so quickly that they blend together which makes the overall message very jumbled. Especially when your audience has no idea what you are referencing
