If I travel to the UK from the US and brought my bike, would I be allowed to participate? I have friends there I can stay with for the short race season and would love opportunity just for the experience alone!

Hi David thanks for your message. Yes you can enter the event which has now become an annual bonanza. 2023 was the UK hill climbing championships. Information for the event and entries are online so get it in your calendar. If you were unable to make the date the hill is open all year round so you can have a crack or come and train on it too 👍

@@simonthomas-lakedistrictvelo That's great Simon, thank you. I think I've seen just about all the hill climb videos here on KZbin and wasn't sure if tourists could participate. I'm nowhere near as good as the top riders there but the events look like great fun and lasts only a few weeks. Now this give me that extra push to finally finish building my bike!
