I'm a pharmacy graduate. Had 2-4 years of community (drugstore) setup work then I took a turn as I tried taking a certification exam as a US certified medical coder which I passed and I'm currently working at (UHG) 😅😂 it must be a rollercoaster ride but life goes on and YOLO 😂 Do where your mind and heart finds peace ❤

god dam girl, so proud of you ! I’m a pharmacist in Taiwan, yet currently study for my master degree,because I was stuck in the same situation. I worked as a hospital pharmacist for 2years, half year working as a night shift pharmacist, although the pay was sweet and nice, my body burned out during this period, so I decided to transfer to community. Fortunately, I do like community, being needed makes me happy, and the pace wasn’t too fast, but I still felt something missing in my life. So I decided to quit my job. I know how hard it is to step out the comfort zone,but keep faith on yourself, and always be happy!

Hi I’m from Singapore and am aspiring to be a pharmacist, however I’ve been getting thoughts on whether being one is for me. Growing up I’ve always been interested in life sciences and have wanted to work in the health sector, but after interning in a hospital pharmacy and working there I’m not sure if the stressful life of a pharmacist is for me. I am always nervous talking to new people and coupled with how tiring it is I can’t really see myself working there for the rest of my life. I’ve applied to multiple universities to study pharmacy but after watching you’re videos I feel as if I resonate with you. I’m not sure if I should continue this path or apply to study something totally unrelated, and if so what. How did you find your passion and career you wanted to change to? Any tips? Many thanks, I really enjoy your videos and especially your calming voice.

First of all, I think it’s absolutely normal to feel unsure about what you want to do. As for finding your passion and career, I think you just have to try different things..! What you like or enjoy doing can change over time, so I think you just have to be willing to experience new things. Also, meeting someone who is working in that area can be really helpful too.
