'Be brave', 'carry on', 'fight it' ... these words don't describe the 24/7 endurance of battling chronic pain. My pain's nothing like yours Dan, but after spinal tumours, surgery and a 22 year battle to maintain some quality of life, the only salvation are our family, kids, grandkids and supportive friends who help us maintain some normality. I did exactly the same for the first 5 years I got diagnosed with this..then quit cold turkey..alone...I used as much vitamin c as I could gut which was about 3lbs and 400 tablets of Imodium until I basically blacked out for 2 weeks....to this day I cant remember what happened, but I know 1 thing..God helped me survive that..just like he does this every second of every day

I was not suicidal but did want to shut myself and be done with it once I came off of opana and morphine because without it, I could no longer work, drive, or have sex…. Thankfully I can still eat lol. I can’t imagine having this pain with nothing to lighten it up, as a matter of fact I even bought snake venom and snail toxin to mix with dmso to try and get some relief. It did not work btw

I’m sorry to see you go through so much pain, I’ve had a cousin with something similar but it was labeled “chronic “ I come a family of herbalist, we suggested he try cbd oil in his 🍵 or medical marajuana not smoked but put in tea for as well. I had a severe spinal infection 6/21. I was operated on for 11 hours, passed away twice on the table during surgery. For the past 18 months I've been experiencing exactly what you've been going through and I know the torment your living with. This past Thursday the Neurosurgeon diagnosed me with Extensive Arachnoiditis from S1 up through the lumbar into the thoracic to T9. Told me that there is no surgical treatment and the only thing that can be done is to attempt to control the pain. Watching this video is almost like watching myself in a mirror. I know what you are going through brother. I was diagnosed last April by Dr Tennent with Adhesive Arachnoiditis, the pain of a flair up is hard to put in words. And not knowing if it will last minutes, hours or days really mess’ with your head. You pray for it to stop. The regular pain when not in a flair state would have laid me up in bed twenty years ago. Now I have learned to live with this constant pain. I too am on treatment recommend by Dr Tennent. God Bless you sir. I don't know what the Dr was giving him for this is anything, but it didn't work. You have probably tried absolutely everything but on the off chance you haven't explored it....Have you looked into TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture). It is not the same type of acupuncture a physio might give you. Physios and chiropractors practice dry Needling/trigger point. TCM looks at the whole person holistically, zooms out rather than zooming in and treats accordingly. From a Western perspective traditional Chinese acupuncture helps to reduce inflammation and increase the circulation and encourages endorphins to be released into the system. It helps to manage pain with the gate control theory etc. Only see a professional who is a member of a professional body such as The British acupuncture Council. Wishing you well.

IF I don't drink enough water, and/or I do a lot of strenuous work in the garden, or something, I get very painful cramping in my legs! IT is sssoooo debilitating...I have to struggle to get up to the water cooler, to get a glass of water, or two, and wait for the cramps to leave! When it's BOTH legs...the inside of my thighs down to my calves...I have screamed/moaned with the excruciating pain...WATCHING YOU, it almost brought tears to my eyes...You are So STRONG...and have loving support...It hurt me that YOU can't just get more water into your body to make that horrible PAIN go away! I've also seen, years ago, a lady on a documentary, who had either what YOU go through, or something she had to live with...Her WHOLE BODY cramping up in horrible contortions...and I don't know how you both got/get through it all...I'M VERY SORRY YOU ARE dealing with that! When my loving ❤️ husband (who lost his arm from the elbow down, in a farming accident) and a Grandson 💙 watched me go through an extra PAINFUL bout of cramping one night...with both legs (I need to stand and put pressure on my legs, or it's worse lying or sitting down)... I suffer from similar pain since 1976 but wasn't taken seriously until 2004 when I couldn't deal with the pain & had a mental meltdown between getting ready for work, breakfast & 2 boys , then I ran over my neighbors cat , sat sobbing in the middle of the street. Arnold Chiari malformation II, syringohydromyelia, syringobulbia. I had decompression surgery where the back lower part of my skull was removed to take the pressure off my brain allowing fluid to flow normally around my brain again 🙃 😅. However damage had already been done but I was told 8 weeks after surgery that I was all fixed but I was still in PAIN . I also have degenerative disk disease & 4 bad disc that I waited an additional 6 years to get fixed all while fully employed mother , wife & maid . I now have 3 fused disc & more that need attention. The only pain relief I get is Smoking Marijuana, cold packs ( I have a shelf in my freezer that is loaded with ice packs) & Kratom! I'm a 60 year old woman. Lyrica, Gabapentin, pregabalin, Neurontin, Cymbalta etc (all the fake pain relief or non-opiod ) don't work.

I am so sorry you have this catastrophic disorder but I am forever grateful that you show your bad times here for all to see. I try to not complain, whine or state the pain I am in during my short visits to my family and because of this they I guess do not realize how hard it is for me to even show up for an hour long visit. I know I have told them but it doesn’t seem that they are listening and although I am an invalid myself, they want me to take my mother to her doctors appointments and babysit her while they have date night. I have told them to call the service I use ( I can’t bathe, wipe my ass or cook a meal) so they would have help other than me but they won’t make the call. Mom has dementia so when she was able bodied I could handle her but now she is older and out of shape and can’t dress herself and has a hard time changing her diaper so I can’t watch her on my own and my attendant can’t take care of both of us. I am going to share this with my brother so maybe he can understand that just because I can put on a brave happy face for a few hours it don’t mean I am “well”. I applaud you for making these videos as the world needs to know you can look good and still feel like you are in the depths of hell at the same time. Thank you so very much! Ps…maybe they won’t say “oh yeah,I played golf yesterday and my back hurts too”. It makes me so angry because I would absolutely LOVE to have the pain of a pulled muscle due to playing golf! I get it. This makes me know others have pain like this because of their backs. I have a degenerative disk disease between L5-S1 that is pinching my nerves bad. Before I got shots, it was 24/7 with nerve pain saddle crouch just sending pain levels 8-10. I couldn't walk or move with my newborn and there was no sleep at night. I'm so happy to have my wife there, but it's not easy for her.

Hello, I'm new to your videos and understand what you are dealing with to a certain degree. We all react differently at times to certain things put upon us not only in the box or out of one. God knows what our body is doing as well!!! Upon that statement I am not trying to put a diagnosis or to say I know all. I'm not out to cause hate but just trying to share what I do for myself since I deal with very similar body actions. I've been blessed with some very wonderful kind hearted doctors that actually communicate with me and one another. Thats a great need everyone should have I feel ,but to each their own. No haters please, just giving my two cents of free speech.in hopes it may help someone. I was told due to a medical diagnosis that I was to be paralyzed at this very moment. This is of a diagnosis thirty years ago. My body has that time of action in the rollidex files where it does react and I am wheelchair bound. But then I'm blessed with remission. I have the daily spasms which I feel like there's no warning of it starting. The only way to describe it is someone with a cattle prod has just used it by touching on random areas. This occuring anytime and any place. I get swelled up, weakness and pain medication will not work with the daily chronic pain. Its a vicious circle of so much. If you would want to know what I do with Doctors knowledge and orders to help ,please let me know. Sorry for the long post. I don't want to take over but I do want to share if it may help you or others. Not a cure but a suggestion upon the help. God bless us all;

I can feel the intensity of the pain as I am also battling nerve inflammation and I know how excruciating the pain is. I am taking Nature’s Way Fish Oil with Omega 3 which i am taking daily. Somehow helps in my nerve inflammation. You are a brave man dude and I am giving you the highest level of degree of respect. I watch ur videos daily😊

I am praying for you. I deal with Chronic Pain of a different type all through my back from 2 accidents where I was reared in both. The first one I was hit so hard I heard something snap in my neck… I refuse to use prescribed narcotic pain relievers bc the one time I did use, it really messed with my heart. I try to just get by with heating pads, topicals & tens unit to help but it really does not even scratch the surface of relieving the pain. Soooo I know THE STRUGGLE IS REAL! I will not stop praying for you! 🙏🏼 ~Cynch~

I feel you're pain brother! I got adhesive arachnoiditis from an infected wisdom tooth, which, eventually, put me in a wheelchair and, eventually, made me quadriplegic. My pain isn't as intense as yours, probably due to the fact that I can't feel most of my body, it's more of a constant, relentless pain. Some days the pain does makes me wonder why I keep struggling to move forward... but I'm still here!
