The story revolves around a young woman named Mei, who was rescued as a young girl by someone calling himself her "butler". But one day, after her parents' accidental death, he appears: Rihito comes from a line of outstanding butlers, and he has been appointed to serve her! Now her ordinary life has completely flipped, as she discovers that she's actually the heiress to a fortune, and is forced to transfer to St. Lucia Girls' Academy, where all the students have butlers! These were my favorite scenes: the part where he grabbed her water in time and when he pulled her close and told her to look at him. He was slowly maturing and I was here for it. I also liked when he hugged her at the beach and told her he will always be by her side. Glad he chased his dream in the end.

I think I’ve figured out why jdramas have never clicked with me. The scenes don’t play out in a realistic manner. For example, when Mei tripped it was obviously intentional and realistically she wouldn’t have ended up as far away from Mameshiba if she really did stumble.

Actually J dramas have a more straigt forward plot approach. Most dramas run only 7 to 10 episodes. This was actually a good drama I watched back in my teens :) just my opinion though.

Jdramas have their certain appeal. The unrealistic side makes it rather entertaining and fresh imo. Besides, it is fiction. If I want it to be realistic, I might as well just watch a documentary. 😅🤣

I think it's after the episode Rihito hugged Mei after they helped Miruku. The butler & the lady should not involved in love. So, they changed the butler. But i guess actually Lucia just wanted Rihito for herself, that's why they changed the butlers.
